Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

The future properties cover just about everything the Inhumans would have been anyway. Need a movie about Fantastic Racism where people with powers face discrimination and government conspiracies? Here's the X-Men. Want a movie about a superpowered offshot of humanity created by alien genetic engineering, with far out Jack Kirby designs? Here's The Eternals.

Because...because...
Nah, there a lot of worse things to do besides being a fan of a shitty show.

Watch me destroying my countryIt's quite a blood bath at ABC.....honestly, at this point no news is nearly good new for Ao S. But whatever they decide, I really hope that they do it before the last episode of the season airs...I want to know if I watch a season or series finale beforehand!
The ending of Agent Carter:
"Oops I dropped the Time Stone!"

Found a really funny article
about the Chinese thought on the Avengers.Turn out that they have some really weird nickname. For example:
- Cap is "Captain Big Tits" or sometime just "Big Tits"
- Hulk is "Green Fatty"
- Apparently, they think Iron Man behave like a woman ("They think Stark is cold on the outside and warm on the inside, like some girls.")
- Hawkeye: "Fat Birdie"
- Black Widow: "Sister Widow" Edit: It seems that the Male Gaze aspect of the character was eventually replaced by her characterization.
- Avengers: "Women's Federation" because of the homophone (It's complicated. More explanation in the article).
My takeaway is that Chinese thinks the Avengers are all overweight.

Captain America having large tracts of land
is something not just China recognizes.

So does that mean if you like a terrible show, you end up hating yourself?
