Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

See for yourself
. So far the most frequent complaint seems to be it very much feels like part of a larger story rather than a standalone.

Knowing how things are with my family at the moment I'm not betting on being able to see Infinity War on the 27th, sadly. So the wait and pressure to avoid spoilers are even higher. But I've seen some non-spoiler-y tweets here and there that point to it being really good so that's nice to hear.
On my wave, passing oooooooonThe only thing I asked for was a simple 1-10 score on the quality and Holy Shit Quotient of the film, not a link to the reviews that I'm specifically avoiding.

Great Interview with Kevin Feige:

It's about the start of the MCU, not Infinity war, so it is save to watch for some distraction.
Here’s some funny no spoilers comics.
The Eternals are a cooler idea anyway.
Also, the idea of The Incredible Hercules showing up in something whether it be a film or TV show is one that excites me.

I love the tape over Tom Holland's mouth.
Curious, without spoilering because I'm afraid to even Google "Infinity War", strictly on a scale of 1-10, how good is the film and how big is the shit that goes down in it? Put the second part in spoiler tags for those who don't even want to know that much.
