Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

x4 I wasn't saying that you were, but wanting both Black Widow and Hulk to die because of a shitty romantic subplot is a bit much.

Oh God! Natural light! If Bucky Barnes is supposed to be held to blame for the people he was forced to kill under HYDRA's control, you have to hold Clint Barton, Natasha Romanov, Gammora and Nebula to the same standard. Otherwise, admit it isn't about "justice" or "fairness", but disliking a certain character, or loving another one to the detriment of everyone else. *steps off soapbox*
Ehhhhh why clint? I mean, i Will loved if they adress how he feel while loki brainwashed of how Loki is pretty much forgiven now.
Natahsa? well I dont mind that, in find natasha is worst because she was clearly willing while Bucky was pretty much a meat puppet, if we only know what the hell she did....
and nebula and gamora?....yeah, dont mind to judge the same way, they maybe can redeem themselves by killing thanos or helping but I sure that boat have sail way unfortunaly.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"The Brucetasha relationship as depicted in Age of Ultron is pretty sexist, not to mention outright toxic. Natasha's whole bizarre spiel of empathizing with Bruce being a monster because she herself is a "monster", plus that awkward line about her being sterilized that...ugh...I'm still seething over it.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Bruce and Natasha are a terrible romance. It was a complete narrative non-sequitur that Joss Whedon pulled out of seemingly nothing, presumably just so he could include some type of romance into Age of Ultron even if it didn't fit the characters.
And a lot of the overtones in it are pretty sexist or just kinda gross.

Nebula and Gamora would have attenuated sentences because they were essentially orphan Child Soldiers with little choice other than doing his bidding or being bodily mutilated or outright killed if they failed. They were coerced into crime by physical and psychological abuse.
Matt Murdock would make them a pretty penny on the Xandarian courts if he went to space.

"All you Fascists bound to lose."For the last goddamn time, her being unable to have children was just to relate to Bruce's inability to have children, and had absolutely nothing to do with both of them claiming to be monsters. Bruce is a monster because of the Hulk, and Natasha is a monster because of her bodycount.

Worst ship? nah, they can be quiet sweet, better than Janex Thor actually, that was handle awfully.
