Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Will they run through a meadow together holding hands
have a listen and have a link to my discord serverI suppose they felt like it was important enough that they couldn't just sweep it under the rug.
Still, wasn't it one of the least well-regarded elements of the film? Why keep it around?
That...seems like overkill.

Oh God! Natural light!Good, there's no reason to just sweep that under the rug. They can resolve it in a civilized manner, and then move the characters on from there.
EDIT: Seriously, this isn't the second coming of the Apocalypse people...That won't be until the X-Men's Phase 5 movie.

Alright, enough with the rage, I think.
I had a feeling they would address this, ever since we saw that brief shot of Bruce and Natasha in the first trailer (I believe that's when it was). It didn't look like a romantic scene, though, so maybe it'll be more underplayed.
Oh God! Natural light!

Bucky was used as a weapon, a gun, and he has as much culpability for his crimes as one. The solution is the same, too: just keep him out of the hands of bad people.
