Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

I guess that solves the problem with the packed May....
I would be happy if that hadn't been the release date for my country all along. Honestly, if I didn't know that this is most likely to not overdo it in May I would get suspicious now that Marvel wants to release it everywhere at the same time. The last Superhero movie which did this was Bv S.

Whut? Black Panther is successful, but until the end of March other movies will draw the attention of the audience, never mind the end of April. And it was the release date for a number of countries anyway.

No marvel movie in September....the last one is Ant-man and the Wasp in July. Which is a good thing, September and November is packed already.

I don't think he's ever shown that same breadth of problem again anyway.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWould Tony be happier if he hung up the suit for real?
Wakanda and Trump's vision of America aren't a fair comparison because only one of them is at risk of neo-colonalism.
Hydra could have had a second Winter Soldier program which Magneto and other mutants were victims of. The mass freeing of mutants into the world and public consciousness in part of some larger conflict could justify a whole lot of the Mutant mythology arriving in the MCU.
I'd be happy for the eventual X-men MCU film to mention Charles, Logan and Erik aplenty but not even feature them. Letting the mostly cinimatically overlooked team members establish themselves before the big boys join the narrative.
Kang being ulternative timeline T'challa sounds awesome. As does T'challa replacing Tony as the poster boy.

Oh shit, April 27th?
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
