Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Yes I agree that Doctor Octupus in comics isn’t 100% evil with his backstory of being bullied, origin of being brain damaged after a lab mishap (which is retained in the movies) and showcasing some degree of being sociable with people (though sometimes he’s faking it). My point in my previous comment was that the Doctor Octopus in the Raimi movies was a lot more heroic than his comic book counterpart. Especially in motives where movie Ock does all of his evil schemes For Science!, while the comic Ock does all of his evil schemes to Take Over the World of course.
I believe it was Amazing Spider-Man #12, way back in the 60s.
Oh God! Natural light!Ghana loves Black Panther
. The theaters are nonstop parties!

It's interesting because I think Tony does carry over some lasting damage
In later movies he can be seen clutching the arm that got hurt fighting the Hulk I think
Forever liveblogging the AvengersMy mistake
And I would have said that it's even odds that he'd have a nervous breakdown first but he seems to have put his life somewhat back together
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThe difference between Stark and Murdock is that Stark can afford medical insurance. Murdock just has the Night Nurse.

have a listen and have a link to my discord serverSome people tried to start a controversy by posting fake assault claims at Black Panther showings[1]
Isn't the twenty-first century amazing! We've progressed so far! Anyway, I hope Black Panther makes a billion dollars.
According to Black Panther, Wales is an independent country in the MCU.

A lot of the subsequent storylines were thankfully compiled into books/collections (I think the Deb Whitman, Mysterio and Ms. Arrow ones, for example, were are collected together), but a lot of the immediate reactions and such weren't. They really are irritating to track down.
