Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

DCAU Brainiac is actually a really good example of how to take a two dimensional antagonist and still have him carry arcs and stories over and over. When you think about it, they don’t really give him more depth (in fact, his last appearance involves a pretty major lampshade hanging on how there isn’t much do him), but what they do is execute him, his plots and the way he affects other characters very well. Giving him a well conceived place in Superman’s history and a little bit of foiling to part of Clark’s character helps too.
IIRC, Earths Mightiest Heroes did something similar with Ultron, though he kind of lost steam after his initial arc.
Braniac Serve more as a force of a general threat, thing always got serious when he show up and that make for any charaterization.
That is were Ultron fail, asíde of Being another evil Tony stark(because that is what se need it, another one), having the twins carry out the best part of his plan and his lack of fighting he come as well....Boring.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"The Ego Article is released:

He scored pretty high overall.
Swan: I think you can take a little bit here and there like the threat level which I think it play agaisnt since the soverain steal the show, I get the why(ego is too powerfull and make the movie to serious) but still.
Now I do agree with you in emocional response, this movie actually make me to care about peter and and Was cheering when he discover his power, putting "the chain" really help to set the move.
Also a sugestión you should out how is defeated because the fall of the villian Also matter a lot.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"So far almost all villians iron man have face are stark like in some way of another: Stane is him as weapon seller and corrupt buissness men, Vanko is even more since he have a genius father he workship unlike tony who hate is and Killian does have a stark like thing, force as hell but it is there.

Kind of a Shadow Archetype working man to the American aristocracy of the Stanks, although that dynasty started with Howard who grew up on the lower east side. So.

Any chance this is a flashback?
Even though I already saw the trailer months ago, it still got me hyped for the movie!
So much so that I re read Jungle Action and the Christopher Priest run of Black Panther. But never the Reginald Hudlin run of Black Panther. Seriously, why the hell my local Books-A-Million chose to sell TP Bs of that run over the much better Priest run? Than again it doesn’t have a good selection of Marvel books as I couldn’t find a good selection of Marvel TP Bs compare to the ones for DC (which have all the good shit including Vertigo).
. . . Yeah, this talk of comics is better suited in the Marvel Comics discussion. This is all about the movies!
Speaking of this year, I also should really look for those TP Bs of Thanos vs. Avengers since it collects all the early stories related to Thanos. Maybe I should order it through Books-A-Million since I couldn’t find any in store copies.

Anyway asshole comic Ultron became a kind of puzzle boss the minute he became adamantium so the fun becomes how will our heroes triumph over this pissbaby robot this time?
And usually they still try to punch the indestructible robot to death to fill page count before throwing Scarlet Witch or a logic puzzle or a surprise wedding at Ultron
Forever liveblogging the Avengers
