Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

The only flaw was that Galactus didn't name his other heralds a combination of metal and sport

I agree that his backstory is great, so how about this:
Silver Surfer origin movie.
Fantastic 4 movie about Galactus and Silver Surfer that ends with Silver Surfer breaking free of Galactus.
More Silver Surfer movies about Norrin trying to cope with the aftermath of defying Galactus and living with the consequences of his actions.

That could work too...though I might squeeze a Got G movie in-between, with Galactus and the Silver Surfer as the villains.
Of note is that Brown is the first black actor to win Best Lead Actor in a TV drama in 75 years.
He also had a pretty great speech about the importance of
intentionally creating roles for people of color than simply colorblind casting.
Something just occurred to me...Ao S is often kind of "preparing" the audience for new notions. Ie they introduced and explained the mystical just in time for Doctor Strange. Now they are doing Time Travel now and throwing around words like "multiverse" - could that be an indication that we'll get to see Time Travel in Infinity War?
The problem with Ultron is that the battles with him usually come down to some kind of "smash smash smash".
The DCAU version of Braniac is flat out really, really good, especially in Justice League Unlimited.
