Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

So here's something I was completely unaware of until just now:
One of the russian brothers in Daredevil is Balthier.
The other one was in Power Rangers Jungle Fury. And here I thought Eka Darville was the only one who'd done something like that lol

Also it was really rushed and the Marvel TV hasn't been able to deliver a truly great show since the first season of Daredevil.
Joeb has not been living up to his job of being the Kevin Feige of Marvel Television. Although that is not really a surprise to anyone who knows the crap he shat all over Marvel Animation.
All in all the track record of Marvel television is pretty good. I thoroughly enjoyed Agent Carter, even if the second season was wonky and I really need a conclusion for that one, Agents of Shield keeps getting better and better. Daredevil is admired (though I do think that 90% of the problems with The Defenders are rooted in the second half of Daredevil season 2, which is still the worst story arc they ever did on Netflix imho), Jessica Jones won a freaking Peabody award and while both Luke Cage and Iron Fist have problems, both shows have their fans and pull great numbers for Netflix. Runaways also gets great early critics.
I suspect that Perlmutter is to blame for The Inhumans...the whole production has his fingerprints all over it.

Most of those named have a better effects budget and are easier to depict than luminescent rainbow Karolina.
I will be legitimately shocked if we actually get to see this
for more than, maybe, a scene or two.
