Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

I think if you're lifting it by imparting force indirectly through another means, in this case the wind, you can do so. Like how Magneto can use his powers to lift it.
But also like Magneto, Kirby probably wouldn't be able to move it with his own body. Who knows if his body is even worthy enough to move it through his digestive system.

Looks like we may actually get Nova introduced in the next Guardians movie
.
I'm really sorry if I throw in something random, but it might even have something to do with Infinity War, and I just have to get it off my chest now. So, I was listening to the commentary of Age of Ultron, and during the stinger where Thanos puts on the Infinity Gauntlet, Joss Whedon commented (not word-for-word) that Thanos will try to gather the Infinity Stones himself now, because had enough after being failed by Red Skull, Loki and Ronan...Did I miss something or what? I thought Red Skull wanted to use the Tesseract for HYDRA (he probably did, that's why he supposedly ended up "betraying" Thanos) but when was it hinted that he worked for Thanos in the first place? Was this supposed to be kept a secret or was it just a slip of the tongue by Joss Whedon? I can't find anything about it online (except some WMG that Red Skull is Thanos). I don't know why but this just kinda blew my mind!
I'm probably jumping the gun (pun unintended) here, but the inclusion of Nova makes me hope with a bit more confidence that the MCU will eventually do a Young Avengers/Champions thing with Sam!Nova as one of the members.
Just like how Ghost's inclusion in the upcoming Ant-Man movie makes me a bit more confident about the Thunderbolts (if any Marvel exec is reading this, please put Vulture on the team as a Composite Character with MACH-I).

She could have a temporary death like pretty much everyone got in The Infinity Gauntlet.
Of course, if that did happen, then they'd need an explanation as to why anyone they might want to permanently kill off can't come back.
Oh God! Natural light!A Jessica Jones-esque female Marvel show is in development[1]
. White Tiger starring Angela Del Toro?
When they said Jessica Jones-esque the first thing that came to mind was Dakota North
, but another private eye show would probably be too similar to Jessica Jones.

Oh right, B again shoots it out as a star. What I'm wondering is, in order for Kirby to impart the suction force to suck up Thor's hammer, he must logically already be worthy enough to move it, right?
