Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Looks like they're they're trying to incorporate authentic African artistic traditions which I can definitely dig. I spotted someone with a lip plate, which is appropriate for a nation that's supposed to be located in East Africa.
Also Jordan looks nice in dreads. W'Kabi looks very close to his comics incarnation. And the Dora Milaje look very cool in general.

Time for the other best thing about Captain America: Civil War to strut his stuff.
One Strip! One Strip!I am digging the brief look at M'baku we got there.
I am enjoying this blend of traditional African tribal aesthetics, current South Africa-ish aesthetics and just sci-fi aesthetics.
Also Dora Milaje guaranteed as scene stealers.

"All you Fascists bound to lose."@Alley: Oh, is that what that is? I was wondering what was going on with that man's face. Didn't know it was a cultural thing.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectOnly thing that bothers me is the first scene breaking the 180 rule
for some reason. Probably just a rough edit. The rest looks incredible, and not at all like so many other "samey chaos and destruction" trailers.
It's very aesthetically appealing, besides the usual ropy trailer CGI.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI really hope this movie finds an excuse for Klaw to fight a cuttlefish and he's like You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Coogler and Feige talk about the trailer and movie,[1]
minor spoilers.
