Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

This song needs more love.Dogwelder transcends companies. Dogwelder is eternal.
You think I'm joking, but I'm not: it's revealed in Sixpack and Dogwelder: Hard-Traveling Heroz that Dogwelder comes from a long line of Dogwelders going all the way back to Ancient Egypt. In the end, however, Dogwelder manages to save the universe...by welding the stars.
Comics are awesome.
What if Flatman wasn't flat?
What if Doorman wasn't a door?
What if Grasshopper - sorry, he was killed before I could finish this joke.
What if Mr. Immortal wasn't a mister?
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.The true evil begins when the dogs start shedding.
EDIT: Wait hold up, Doorman actually looks kind of cool.

This song needs more love.I can taste the passage of time
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.I have to say, when it comes to comically insane (or at least, intentionally comically insane) heroes and villains, DC's got some of the best. And ironically, if they were created by Marvel we might actually see some of them outside the comics.
I mean, the Defenestrator. Who doesn't love a guy who carries around a window to throw the bad guys out of. I'd love to see Section Eight (minus Bueno Excellente) in something.

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Oh, he's closer than you might think.

I understand that Got G Vol 2 has a whopping 5 post-credit scenes (though I also understand that not all of these are, strictly speaking, serious scenes).
Could anyone give me a spoiler-free description of where these scenes are in the credits? I'd like to know how long I need to stay to see the important stuff. Really, I guess I just need to know where the last one that actually matters falls here.
Oh God! Natural light!

I think reverse polarity Dogwelder instead wields things to dogs. The same, but backwards. Instead of walking around with a bunch of dogs he wants to weld onto people, he walks around with a bunch of random junk he specifically wants to weld onto dogs.
