Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

I like Gwenpool way more than I thought I would. Her meta humor shtick is basically exactly the sort of humor I love. So I would love to see her in the MCU... though she is a very new character so I doubt that will happen of course.
Besides, I want Kamala in the MCU first.
When we're done, there won't be anything left.Looks like Strange will be more Urban Fantasy than Horror.
Horror would involve Strange having to go into a Dimension Lord's realm for most of the movie where he'd be more vulnerable than ever.
Also, I can turn this around, too: Angel is an immortal vampire. Matt Murdock is a blind lawyer with good senses.

Incidentally, my Marvel t-shirt helped me out today. I was paying for a parking permit at a machine, but it malfunctioned and ate my money. Afterward it took me a long time to find the parking safety center (apparently a ton of buildings in the area had power outages for whatever reason), but the cop there liked my Marvel shirt and reimbursed me out of his own wallet. Said his favorite movie was Age of Ultron, I told him mine was The Winter Soldier.

I'd love that too, although Squirrel Girl's probably off the D-List by now, right?
