Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Looks...fun? It's weird to feel like I have to be cautious throwing that word around with superheroes, and Spider-Man in particular, but such is the way of things.
The poster looks very '90s, between the colour palette and the shininess and soft, somewhat geometric athleticwear lines of the costume. I don't mean that as a bad thing, because Spider-Man is a character whose personality comes through very strongly via body language (despite his costume not having a mouth), yet somehow this is the first time they've really gotten that across on the posters. A good sign, I think.

That's why the poster was giving me such a weird loving reaction, it was reminding me exactly of that awesome 90s Spider-man cartoon I grew up with
@Runaways news, Should I be worried that it's ending up on Hulu? I mean mind you I've only read the first arc and after things I've heard it's better if I stay naively unaware of how things go on for the Runaways.
The Blog The ArtWhy is it worrying that it's on Hulu? They're no Netflix but they have some great programming.
I'm confused. You don't care about either so not watching it is a loss for you?
