Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

If Bucky hadn't always been called that, I would have said that they planned it that way...
Oh God! Natural light!Neither have I, but you asked, so I thought I'd theorize, and they were the only people who I thought might like the man.

One Strip! One Strip!Wow.
What were Bucky's parents thinking?
Guess they wanted him to be the most hated man in America one way or another.
One Strip! One Strip!Buchanan also apparently was an incompetent idiot in his past political jobs involving diplomacy. The only reason why he was elected was because he was out of the country when Franklin Pierce fucked things up with Kansas-Nebraska (and to be fair to Pierce, he was a better Congressman than a President, and he was dealing with a lot of emotional turmoil due to watching his son get decapitated in a train wreck on the way to the inauguration).
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?>You know what this Civil War has in common with the American Civil War? James Buchanan started both
it was that Abraham Lincoln fellow who started it when he wouldn't let the south be,it was the war of northern aggression I tell you

have a listen and have a link to my discord server![]()
Things tend to get lost in the whole secession and Civil War issues. Either way, Pierce only signed the law leading to Bleeding Kansas after coercion from the guy behind it, Stephen Douglas, aka that really short guy Lincoln ran against in Congress and for the Presidency (and he was really short).

Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?

I've seen that comparison around. Tis an amusing coincidence.
