Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

I get the feeling Bucky's presence in Wakanda isn't going to be something the general population knows about. And even if it did, Bucky hasn't committed any crimes against Wakanda that we know of, Hydra brainwashing or not (we don't even know if Hydra ever made incursions into Wakanda). And Zemo being T'Chaka's true killer became a matter of public record at the end of Civil War.
However I don't see why they would have a problem with it. Any radical isolationists might not like it, but it wouldn't be personal.

Because Bucky is still the winter soldier, who is wanted is almost all contry for to many crime to count(including the death of Stark) and hinding for the general public is the kind of shaddy thing you expect for the CIA, no king of wakanda
I like that. I think it works quite well. I hope they go for that. Then again, Marvel has (Dare Devil season 2 aside) been pretty good at avoiding racist caricatures.
Then again, that didn't help Iron Man 3, but that movie 's biggest crime (to me) is wasting Ben Kingsley. There must have been better things they could have done with him.
One Strip! One Strip!![]()
Yeah, I was kind of stunned how many outlets claimed it was "cancelled", when it seemed pretty obvious to me that it just didn't fit in Phase 3 anymore. Though I don't necessarily expect it to be the first movie in Phase 4 either...something is going on behind the scenes. Let's be frank, if Marvel actual gets their hands on the F4 rights, it might make more sense to start with them and let them discover the Inhumans in order to create some early interest in those characters.
IW 2 should end the this first mega arc of the MCU. the inhumans, royal family, in a inhuman movie are reluctant and passive anyway, not appearing unless they really need to rather than want to. unless thanos or kree attack alatian then it doesnt make a lot of sense. would kinda take away the impact of IW 2

Oh, I can believe that it was a bargaining chip, but that doesn't make it a bad idea down the line. Like the Got G, the Inhumans have the potential to become a successful franchise, if handled right.
Rich "I heard it from a guy in a bar" Johnston
. Take with a grain of salt.
