Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Agents of Shield preview trailer spoiler, We're getting Kree in Ao S next week, so it's entirely possible that Ao S might leave a thread loose that is then confirmed later to have spawned Captain Marvel.
“And the Bunny nails it!” ~ Gabrael “If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we.” ~ CyranYeah, that was...beautiful. Jesus.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.I'm okay with him being dead. After all...
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.Soooo finally saw Civil War; I liked it, I really did... But I still have my issue with it. Here is my review on it, if you're curious:

I still like the overarching theme of AOU being the characters struggling with heteronirmative familal ideals. But I'm a nerd, and probably only appreciated that theme because it appealed to my tastes.
It's a nice lead into Civil War though, what with it establishing that Cap's family IS his comrades.

I haven't been keeping up with the show anymore so I have no idea if there are any named Kree characters, but as long as you avoid using those, you're fine.
