Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

I saw some spoilers were posted on the film pages and had a question about one which I had read a couple of days ago and wondered if true:
So apparently War Machine ends up paralyzed. Kind of pissed off at that and wondered if there's any discussion of his injury being treated/healed, because I'd think that would totally be possible through Helen Cho's cradle thing and/or Stark tech.
Not sure if it's appropriate for me to ask (will remove this if not).
He played a Stinger cameo in Incredible Hulk.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.I really hope they show how this generation of youth act. SMHC can be huge by digging into the midsets of high schoolers like a magic school bus trip. In an age where divergent maze runner hunger games twilight mortal instruments I am number four the fifth wave etc run rampant, having characters who reflect our youth is so refreshing.

So Keaton left because they couldn't afford both him and RDJ at the same time
.
Suspected as much, considering the news about RDJ in Homecoming came right after the news of Keaton dropping out. Especially since RDJ's contract keeps demanding higher and higher fees with each movie.

The Hollywood reporter says that RDJ will be in Spider-man: Homecoming (there have been rumours before, but this is a better source, plus they say the deal has now been finalized). Strangely I am not surprised. I just had a feeling, because he would fit so well.
