Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

So...the 12 TV shows are the two which are already on Network TV, the five which already are or will be on Netflix, plus Most Wanted and Damage control and one show which will apparently not be connected to the MCU at all. That leaves two shows, one of them supposedly a comedy....mmm....does She-Hulk count as comedy?
I'm pretty sure he only used the "I could do this all day" line on the bully.
He also used it after he charged into the HYDRA base solo, just before the rest of the Howling Commandos broke in.
Cap: I could do this all day.
RS: So can I, but I'm on a tight schedule.
Cap: So am I. *cue HCs ziplining in*
(Perhaps a bit paraphrased for Red, I forget for certain how his response started.)

Honestly, I would be surprised if we get to see Firestar anywhere for the simple reason that I doubt that anyone knows who actually owns the rights to her. Sony could argue that she belongs to them because she started out in a Spider-man show. Fox could argue that she belongs to them because she is a mutant who made her first comic book appearance in an X-men comic. And Marvel could argue that they never sold the rights to her because she is neither part of the ongoing Spider-man verse, nor is she is full-time member of the X-men, but actually used to be a member of the New Warriors before becoming an Avenger. It is a legal mess in which I doubt any studio wants to poke at this point.
Re: Sebastian Stan: Never judge a movie on a sugar rush!!!!
I am especially amused by this reaction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csYvmJ395lw&feature=iv&src_vid=dHCWIC626jU&annotation_id=annotation_1000463853
Speaking of series, a series I would like to see, would be the Sif and the Warriors Three.
- Lorelei and The enchantress would be the Big Bad Duumvirate of the series.
- Loki would be the Bigger Bad / The Man Behind the Man
- The Valkyries may be recurrent allies.
- Karnilla would be the Bigger Bad turned Final Boss

The queen of Norns. Last time she showed up as a big time villain and character Kid!Loki still lived. Think she had a cameo appearance as part of Jane!Thor's big girl power moment along with all other female super heroes and villains vs the Destroyer.
Edit: The deaths in NY were clearly retconned into being way fewer by Marvel.
◊ "Hundreds" is almost always written in newspapers when more than 200 people have died. 74 people is way too few.

There is a degree to which it might've been in a good idea to put Marino in a role where it doesn't take time-travel hijinx to get Rudd on a Marvel show, yeah.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.
