Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

You forgot:
Zemo: "My mother was inseminated by his frozen semen because Nazis are bonkers and believe Nazism is genetic. Unfortunately, they were right."
Cap: "What."

Yeah unless he's a test tube baby Zemo would have to be the grandson of someone Cap knew in World War 2, unless he's Older Than He Looks I guess.
Possibly. They did say his character is the product of everything that has happened in the MCU so far.

Like, see, I couldn't tell the difference. That's even more hilarious.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectA representation of Zemo, after of the death of his father.
I didn't like the spider suit when I was watching it on You Tube on my cellphone but now that I got a big screen, I can see that it actually looks kinda good but in a weird way.
I like it.

Continuing on the Thunderbolts train of thought, what would the team look like? General Ross as government oversight, Zemo as leader, plus Crossbones, the Abomination, and more than one HYDRA Red Shirt in a Yellowjacket suit, maybe. One thing the MCU has not done is introduce a large enough catalogue of surviving villains to really fill out a team.
Also digging the Spiderman suit. Looks like it distilled the 70's era suit, but with the thinner webbing I remember from the animated series.

Film Critic Hulk
posted a bunch about his issues with the Civil War conflict: Thoughts?
Bucky's my favorite MCU character so I'm already biased to care a lot about him, but I guess it's a bit myopic of me to assume everyone else feels the same way. Plus not everybody likes or saw both Cap films or had the benefit of reading the original comics beforehand.

I thought it was a joke about how he's the only one there actually wearing tights, but I guess it could double as that.
