Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Ok, just one think....
Im the only one so things Wanda get away with all the bad stuff she did? I meant barton have excuse or explanation he was brainwashed by Loki and mind gem, but Wanda was very willing to fuck uo everything and yet she get to stay in the team.....
I mean, I dont want her to die or everything, just to play the atoner because otherwise would look like a Karma houdini.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Did Wanda really do anything she needs to atone for? Like. She signed on to destroy Tony Stark and the Avengers, which I really can't blame her for all things considered. She switched sides once she found out Ultron was gonna...er...do whatever popped into his head at any given time, really, which may or may not involve an extinction-level event involving throwing her hometown at the Earth.
I guess you could argue the Hulk rampage is on her, but we don't really know exactly what she put in Bruce's head, only that it made him Hulk out. I think the plan was to get him to attack his teammates.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. She set Hulk onto a city full of innocent people. That's the major thing.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Still, even then she's indirectly responsible for a lot of people dying. While it may not be a Moral Event Horizon, it's still someething she definitely should try making amends.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Messing around with Bruce Banner at all is massively irresponsible. Unless she was certain there was no risk of him killing innocents, she shouldn't have attempted what ever she attempted.
I'm kind of hoping her character arc addresses this in some way. You'd think the Skovian Accords and Black Panther would come down on her pretty heavy, but at the same time, you don't want Civil War to be too dependent on the events of the Avengers film.
Her Freudian Excuse was very flimsy to begin with. Even if she honestly believed that Tony Stark murdered her family by virtue of having sold bombs, the other Avengers weren't involved in that and were obviously doing good work to help people.
She basically decided everyone needed to die because of the actions of one guy.
I said it before. The best possible outcome is her joining the Avengers. There's no reliable way to imprison her so they might as well put her powers to good use. It also lets the Avengers keep an eye on her.
When did she decide everyone needed to die? As soon as she realized that was Ultron's plan she turned on him.

Come on, man, we see buildings levelled and people clearly caught in the blast radius. Okay, fine, if somehow by God's divine intervention not a single creature died during the entire fight, Wanda should still be making amends for hurting a few hundred people and putting them in mortal danger.
