Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

... Weirdest thing, I was planning on making a post because earlier today I realized that when Civil War comes out they're going to put the crappy old Civil War on the forefront of shelves which means people would have to suffer through that poorly planned drivel to satisfy their curiosity about what the comic version is like.
And in the day I think this, they decide they might just make a new one?
I am actually not sure which is a worse possibility: Bringing back the old one or making a new one.....
The Blog The ArtHate to divert from the topic at hand, but man, I am LOVING the Doctor Strange concept art! The costume looks great. My only issue is the goatee. There's precedent for it in the comics, but I've always preferred Strange with just a Badass Mustache, as far as facial hair goes.
(And besides, the clear-cut winner here is pepperoni and bacon)

I need Jessica to hire Matt Murdock as her attorney for various reasons if there's a season 2 of Jessica Jones.
