Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

See, I thought the film made it pretty clear that he was just lying to make himself look good there.
Overall, I thought it was good, but I did think that having Ultron show up in that hallucination scene was kind of tacked on. I mean, I know a lot of people wanted the "Ultron, we would have words with thee" line, but it's obvious that they included it here just to pander to them.
Oh God! Natural light!
It wasn't tilted that often. And even when it was, I'm pretty sure it was meant to be an in-universe Interface Screw, probably due to the events of Doctor Strange. Yeah, I know having that get referenced might have caused a bit of Continuity Lock-Out, but come on, they couldn't not reference Eternity's little reality hiccup.
We're not talking about the Squadron Supreme movie?
Also, does anyone else want one of those?
My various fanfics. The bit where Dr. Strange takes credit for the death of Hamlet's King Claudius is one of the weirdest in-jokes I think these films have ever done.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.Pretty cool. Obviously not quite film-quality, but the visuals are striking.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectWhat? I thought we were talking about Captain America Civil War!
When we're done, there won't be anything left.

Although they had to push back Captain Marvel again. It think it's coming out in 2021 now.
