Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

I kind of wonder if instead of Jessica Jones being imbued with resistance to mind control by a 3rd party, it'll be more a case of her building up a tolerance to his mind-control pheromones due to how long she was exposed to them in her backstory. To the point where brief exposure just doesn't do anything.
"Hey, Vision, remember that time you punched me."
"Not in this continuity."
"Still though. Calling in a favor."
Having a sniper shoot him from the distance is the obvious solution. Alternatively, wait for him to leave his house, then set up a bomb to go off when he comes back.
EDIT: Or, sense his powers rely on pheromones, wearing a HAZMAT suit might do the trick.

I read somewhere that Hellcat has some sort of telepathic ability? Maybe she'll take Jean's role here?
Oh God! Natural light!

She isn't so much a sociopath as a victim of PTSD. Sociopathy would imply being unable to feel genuine emotion and manipulating people for the sake of manipulating people, in addition to a high personal opinion of oneself. If anything, Jessica Jones has enough trauma from having to deal with Kilgrave to make her PTSD.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
