Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Whoa that's generic. And from one of the more artistically adventurous franchises no less.
Although the mismatched horns
◊ are oddly charming.
This is a weird thing to be saying of a giant lizard monster, but I swear he looks stoned. It might be the posture, but whenever I imagine him talking I just hear a deeper version of Shaggy's voice coming out of him.

Unless the guy who posted them somehow found the trailer online and then decided to make the quality look shitty for the hell of it
◊, then yes, I'm pretty sure they were legit.
I'm pretty sure the trailer itself has yet to be seen outside of gif form.

That's not exactly news that this point, considering every that talked about Marvel's plans for Spider-Man hinted at him being around 15-16.

One thing I don't think has been mentioned before:
If Spider-Man is 15 in Civil War, and assuming that the movies take place in the same year they're released, then he would be born in 2001. This means that he would only have one solo film in which he's a teenager because he would already be 18 and have graduated from high school by summer of 2019, which is when Phase 3 presumably ends.
Of course, adolescence typically ends after age 19, so he would still be a teenager for one more year after that, but the aspect of him being in high school wouldn't be able to be explored for that many movies.

Yes, even a thread about Marvel movies is incomplete without at least one Take That! aimed at Justin Bieber.

There are some characters that just shouldn't be attempted if you're not gonna go all out with them.
