Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Windows looking the same just means that they might be reusing the same windows on a different set. Or they are in the same vicinity as where they shot Matt Murdock's apartment. Or they liked the look of those windows, so they are reusing them.
But there's no proof at all that it actually is Matt Murdock's apartment.
You also can't prove that there isn't a teapot somewhere between Earth and Mars that's orbiting the sun
, but it's highly unlikely. Odds are they would have announced a cameo by Charlie Cox, just like they announced Rosario Dawson would be on the show.
So the burden of proof is clearly on you.

That's what I've been doing the whole time though? I don't understand why you're being so anal about this. I've been speculating that Matt Murdock might show up, seeing as how one of the rooms Jessica Jones is standing in looks similar to Matt Murdock's apartment.
Again, what the hell??

No, you wrote "This picture is Matt Murdock's apartment." That is a statement of fact of which there is no proof. And then you said, "There's no proof that it isn't Matt Murdock's apartment either," which is just stupid. The burden of proof is on you to back up your claim.
I mean, I can claim that's Doctor Strange's apartment and you can't prove me wrong, now can you? So clearly that's Doctor Strange's apartment.

Honestly, the fact that both Jessica Jones and Daredevil take place in and around Hell's Kitchen, New York, should be enough for most people to predict that Matt Murdock might show up as a cameo. But I can see you're intent on just being a jerk today, so I'm dropping the subject.

Second episode? Debatable. At all? Everyone. Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury was the most likely candidate to show up in a guest role at all given the actor's absolute love of the character and the way he's the best fit to make an appearance. He'd probably be the main character if they could afford him and he had the time.
Jaimie Alexander as Sif, on the other hand, was quite a surprise.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Damn it. >_<
Ahh, my point exactly.
No, it wouldn't, we'd just write it off as yet another straight, white guy stealing a role from other demographics.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.A straight, white guy stealing a spotlight from women and/or minorities? No, that wouldn't be surprising at all.

This picture is Matt Murdock's apartment
◊. What.
