Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Horcrux.
We're still trying to find all of Hitler's, lest we be plunged into another age of darkness.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.
Another was one of his paintings. And that's part of the reason why painting is evil. (The other reason is that Hitler even painted to begin with.)

Speaking of Beta Ray Bill, I've just heard that he apparently appeared in Guardians Of The Galaxy in a quick cameo.
Considering that it's pretty fucking hard to miss Space Horse Thor, I'm a little surprised at that one. Any truth to it?
One Strip! One Strip!James Gunn has denied it was Beta Ray Bill.
Honestly, I can't even see the head, only a red cape. So nope, I don't think it's Beta Ray Bill.
I thought that Bill was supposed to be a skeleton that Quill runs into in the opening.
I believe that was debunked as well, since the skeleton was way to small to be someone who's Thor's equal, physically (and because I really want Bill to appear in 'Ragnarok' somehow even though the Vision lifting Mjölnir seems like it would've prevented that).
Yeah, this video
says it's a possible reference to Beta Ray Bill, but I think that's horse apples.
Wait, why would the Vision lifting Mjolnir prevent Beta Ray Bill from appearing?

Beta Ray Bill's first appearance involved him as an apparent monster fighting Thor, and then he picks up Mjolnir. It's kind of similar to how Vision proved his inherent nobility by suddenly picking up Mjolnir. It doesn't prevent Bill from showing up, but it's been done already, so it takes the wind out of Bill's sails. Honestly though, Age of Ultron was crowded as it is. I don't think I want more characters.

Age of Ultron is over. There aren't going to be any more characters in Age of Ultron. And if they do introduce Beta Ray Bill, he may not appear in Infinity War, since he's not a member of the Avengers or Guardians.
In any case, they can totally introduce him in a different manner in Thor: Ragnarok if they want to. And I hope they do.
Chill. It's not out until 2017 anyway.
Marvel has very aggressively been going after the Asian box office the last few years. And it's not just a random press conference they're doing it at the Comic Con in Manila.

so when the hell is thor rangarok shit gonna start up? i wanna know what the hell loki has been doing! and who's directing
