Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

And the garbage animation and the childish plot and the fact that it somehow tried to have Continuity Nods to both Earth's Mightiest Heroes AND Ultimate Spider-Man...

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.I wish I could quit it but it keeps having half decent episodes that trick me into having hope.
The most recent one wasn't bad.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThey had an episode where the Avengers fought Odin... IIRC.
I'm peeved because EMH and Spectacular were canceled to make room for these shows, but some of their episodes looked entertaining. Still, never going to watch them. Bias wins out.
I'm one of very few who preferred Norton as Banner. Ruffalo has an entirely different take, a Banner who's somewhat "at peace". Norton did a neurotic Banner, and I was okay with that. Ruffalo's Hulk is more obviously more physically impressive and has a nice fusion between 2003's "veggie Hulk" and 2008's "walking steroid Hulk".

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Spectacular was owned by Sony, but then when Disney bought Marvel, they got the TV rights to Spider-Man.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon. Can't remember the exact details, but I think it had something to do with animation rights.
Thanks splash, also remembered this this.

Earth's Mightiest Heroes wasn't cancelled. It just wasn't renewed for further seasons.
Shame. Monica Rambeau was supposedly going to appear if they got another season
Forever liveblogging the AvengersAnd here's Marvel's statement on Elektra
.
So they're completely dropping the Matt/Claire thread in Daredevil season 2.

It's actually the main reason I never gave the show a chance. Alongside with the "Iron Man needs to lead us" nonsense in the pilot.
