Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

The Aether is the Reality Stone, while the Orb in Guardians of the Galaxy was the Power Stone and the Tesseract was the Space Stone. The only two left are the Soul Stone and the Time Stone.
Generally, the Soul Gem was a part of Adam Warlock and we don't know if they will introduce him or not (Gunn included his cocoon as an Easter egg, but that was it). And the Time Gem...no idea.

So...many...spoilers...
Want to watch...with family...but...older sibling still has...to do...finals...next week.
Must change subject to something else pertaining the MCU.
So...we still don't have confirmation on who's Spidey yet, do we?
Considering how young he's going to be, I wonder if they'll find any girls his (the actor's) age to at least do cameos of MJ and/or Gwe-
-sees a human-sized Getter Tomahawk being thrown at his left.-
YIKES!
-ducks for his life-
Oy, still a touchy subject, huh? Hey, did any of the other Spidey movies, by any chance, have Liz Allan?

I still haven't figured out where Age of Ultron belongs in my list...under my top two, which are Winter Soldier and Got G, but above the Thor movies and Iron Man sequels and naturally The Incredible Hulk (which is still my least favourite).
I've been trying to put off having a definitive opinion of the film because I was way sleep deprived when I watched it and after like an hour I just wanted it to end so I could pass out.
I'm sure that's not the movie's fault.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.![]()
The last time a teenaged Spider-Man
◊ and Black Cat tried to have a romantic moment.
◊
They're going to introduce all of Peter's school "friends" probably so don't be surprised when Gwen, MJ, Flash and Harry show up.

Here's mine:
- Guardians of the Galaxy
- Iron Man
- The Winter Soldier
- Iron Man 3
- Avengers
- Captain America
- Thor
- The Incredible Hulk
- Average for Marvel Shorts.
- Age of Ultron
- Iron Man 2
- Thor 2
- Agents of Shield
Does that mean you are behind with Ao S? Because this last season was/is awesome. Can't wait for the next episode.
So it's come to my knowledge that there are two finalists for Spidey. Asa Butterfield...
...and Tom Holland.
Does "Tom Holland" ring a bell to anyone here?
Another 18 years old British actor
, it seems. I haven't seem any of his movies.
Funny both finalists are British, though.
The only thing I'm not looking forward to from this movie is how writers are gonna now see if they can shoehorn "You didn't see that coming?" into every Quicksilver appearance ever.
My various fanfics.Wait, they want the guy who wrote and directed directed Fright Night to play Spidey? I'm there for that.
you better hope he doesn't get the part because if he does all of my comments on the subject will be increasingly dumb jokes about this

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.I liked the scene where Hawkeye contemplates murdering him to death and framing Ultron for it. He probably feels like a dope after Pietro saved his ass.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThis whole thing about Quicksilver dying is kind of making me just a bit iffy about seeing the movie. Oh, I'm still gonna' see it, but it's just that, in the comics, Quicksilver didn't kick the bucket during his first time at the bat. He went on to be a stalwart member of the team for over 5 years worth of comics, and he was an off-and-on member for decades after that. And you're all telling me he gets killed off in his first and perhaps only MCU film? I just don't get it.

So I was wondering now that we have The Mind Stone anyone guessing where we'll see the last two?
And which stone do we think the Aether was?
