Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Ah, Ender from the Ender's Game movie. Nice to see him staying around.
And yes, he looks younger than he is. Ender's Game had him playing a ten year old and he was already in his teens.
If it's true, I thought he did a solid performance in Ender's Game. A little disappointed they didn't take advantage of the opportunity for diversity, but I understand the value for being true to the comics, and that pic they used immediately reminds me of Spider-Man (1967) Peter Parker. There's a million wildly conflicting rumors so I'll just wait until the official announcement.
Er, we don't really know when Marvel and Sony are gonna announce who's gonna be Spidey officially, do we?
The article seemed to imply they'll do it on some big event like SDCC or whatever, but we know for a fact that Marvel's kept saying that they're not showing up at this year's SDCC...

I'll trust them a little more.
I think a young actor is a great choice. Besides the fact that they want Parker to be 15 when he starts out in the MCU, like Swanpride pointed out, he'll be able to stick around a while because he looks younger

Crow: There's a plot?

... That is literally a child. There's no way that guy's older than twelve.
