Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Oh yeah, him, too. Sorry, I forgot him for a second.

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.Eh? Bullseye and Echo could work but they'd have to seriously tone down or remove Elektra's psychic stuff. The show seems more comfortable implying supernatural stuff than it does outright depicting it.
Also, yeah, we definitely need Stilt-Man.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. He is a man.
On stilts.
What more do you need?
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. Why? Was "Stilt Lady" taken? There are far more intuitive names than 'Lady Stilt-Man".
I never got how our threads became obsessed with Stilt Man
@Wack'd, I didn't even know Elektra was supposed to have psychic powers. Everything where I've encountered her in has just had her be a very scary competent assassin.
The Blog The ArtHm.
I wonder if a representative of HYDRA will pay a visit to Fisk in prison...
Speaking of Fisk in prison, did anyone notice Fisk's uniform was white? Possibly/Obviously a nod to his classic attire? (And yes, I know they already did a reference to the Kingpin's white attire when Vanessa talked about the other guys who had the hots for her.)

I didn't either, honestly. I'm not a Daredevil guy. I looked this stuff up so I could contribute to the conversation.

"The Hypno-Hustler" might be the most 1978 name for a supervillain ever spoken.
Hm. On reflection, I think I still stand by what I said about Thor. I think we do see a clear progression of him from being a cocky, arrogant jerk, to being humbled, to him finally becoming more heroic and selfless. I don't think he just turned on a dime. I think we can see a progression of his character arc in the movie.
She-Hulk and Daredevil actually had a short crossover before She-Hulk was cancelled and ended after the first 12 issues.
They
◊ talked a lot
◊ as friends
◊ about their work and current cases.
◊ Of course they end up on opposite sides in the next trial(which is about Captain America's past before he got the Super Serum)for the first time ever.

Giving the lawyer stuff more prominence in the second season and giving more the episodes a "superhero Perry Mason-style mystery" vibe would be a really cool idea. The only down side is that it would be a bit harder to do arc stuff with it, unless all of their clients turned out to be manipulated by the same forces or he took one client over several episodes.

Motherfucking Stilt-Man.
My various fanfics.
