Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

. . .
Please don't tell me you'd rather see him wear that stupid tiara too. You know, the one that Spidey has always made fun of to his face?

It's not yellow. But I will take any opportunity I can to mock the tiara.

Sorry about that.

You never know when Chameleon may strike. Or Mystique. Or a Skrull. Or a Skrull disguised as Mystique disguised as Chameleon.

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.I've heard contrary reports from other fairly reputable sites that Feige had been wanting to do Civil War for a while now (and quite a lot of fan speculation as soon as Cap 3 was even announced, before the Civil War tagline was even revealed), or that the Russos were actively hinging on RDJ to do Civil War for them and the non-Civil War version was really just a backup plan. I don't know what to believe, or how much of it is people just backpedalling.
Secret backroom dealings make for good speculation, but not much solid fact.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectHumor aside, this actually was the explanation in the comics.

x 4: Man, wouldn't that be the Continuity Snarl to end all Continuity Snarls . . .

So it's RDJ's fault that they scrapped their plans to followup on things with Bucky.
