Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Hey, so I was reading the AOU tropes page—any chance someone can explain this to me?
I'm more irritated that his voice sounds kinda like Bill Corbett with a cold, and so when he says "clearly you've never made an omelet" I was like "were they releasing a Riff Trax version of the scene?".
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies."I'm glad you asked that because I wanted to take this time to explain to you the details of my evil plan" (LASER BLAST)
Thats outstanding.
So we finally heard Scarlet Witch talk.

"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsI find it kind of weird he actually referred to it as an Evil Plan while Wanda and Pietro are there. I thought they were working with Ultron because they thought he was on their side.
Clearly the best kind of sarcasm.
And yeah, the voice always seems oddly inconsistent in these clips. Hopefully they'll keep it clean for the final film.

Not only his dialogue, but the way he moves and his body language. He's not all stiff and taciturn like most robot characters (including himself in other adaptations). It's all very human.
I was worried he wouldn't have one, and now it seems he'll have quite a bit of one. He definitely feels like the son of Tony Stark.

Between Ultron and JARVIS it seems Tony has created the perfect sarcasm subroutine.

And then you realise that, holy shit that's a lot of people.
