Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Official confirmation of the Universal rights issues regarding Hulk solo films. This is something people've been saying here for a while, but nice to finally have official word on this.
Hey, Rhodes was in the last Age of Ultron clip. That's cool.
Here's the other:
This'll do nothing to calm down the shippers.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectCorporate shenanigans. What you gonna do? Marvel sort of made a hash of things when they farmed out their movie rights in the early days.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectQuick, who's a good character outside of Hulk's mythos for Banner to appear in a duo movie in either as a major or at least strong supporting character, such that their plots would work well together, they could develop both characters through the interaction, and the plot won't be contrived?
That's not Tony, that is.

The only ones that come to mind are The Thing and Wolverine.
Unfortunately, they're not valid options.

But in a purely non-romantic sense, the scene works, because it feels like a natural extension of the relationship they've already established.

There really aren't a lot of options right now. Unless they did something like Planet Hulk for GOTG 2.
'S coming out next year, isn't it? So that seems reasonable.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.![]()
And then Doctor Strange later on in the year.
Chee-eesh.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectBased on longstanding rumors, some of the nonspoiler comments I've seen from press, and some choice background details in the shots taking place inside Clint's farm, I'm guessing she'll be Hawkeye's wife.
EDIT: I have a feeling this movie is going to sink Clintasha ultra-hard. I'm still not really feeling Hulk/Widow but I pity for the ten people who do ship it because they're about to behold the wrath of a tsunami.
