Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Yeah, looks like Spider-Man: Freshman Year will be non-canon — no way the villains' cast
would work with the MCU.
We're also seeing some first looks
at Parker's appearance. Definitely has a throwback feel to it with the strong resemblance to his first comic run.
There's already a second season?
Moving fast, Marvel.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"By the way, since they're animated projects, we do have collected info about them in their respective threads:
Looks like all the animated properties are getting release dates and reveals today. So that will leave tomorrow for the live-action stuff.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"So there's a thing
called Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur? Okay.
Edit: That tweet is from yesterday. Stop it, Twitter.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Oh yeah, I discovered that by accident when looking at Maya Hawke's Wikipedia page.
Guess we know why she wanted her dad to become Arthur Harrow now.
They really overuse the found family thing.
''Guardians also does it. Sure it better showcases how they are a family but it gets kind of annoying when every super group is a “found family”. "You know my name. Now''
Bit late to this part, but... I agree. They need to calm down with that. Not every team needs to be a family; they can have different dynamics. No wonder they can't fit the Fantastic Four anywhere, being the first Marvel Family used to be their shtick, but now they look less unique as a result.
Also, according to press email, Freshman Year is still MCU canon:
Also, we've know about the Moon Girl

First I'm hearing of most of them. Sorry, I don't keep up.
