Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

Yep. Hawkeye is the one and only character in the complete history of comic books to be a member of both the Avengers and the Justice League.
Top that, Wolverine.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Dang, just imagine Hulk as a Red Lantern. That probably wouldn't end well for anybody.
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonFun Fact: Death of the Endless once made a Lawyer-Friendly Cameo in an Incredible Hulk issue where she directly called Thanos a weird little creep.
Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonYou forget Guy Gardner is a Green Lantern
There is no asshole requirement that prevents you from being a Green Lantern
And even then Cyclops isn't that big of a douche anyway. Wolverine's more of an intolerable jackass at times.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Will is probably good for the man who has to keep his eyes closed at all times when not wearing his special ruby quartz glasses for his special eyes
And who puts up with Wolverine without shoving him out of a zeppelin

Forever liveblogging the AvengersThe Cloverfield Paradox was a bad movie but then again, David Fincher's first movie was Alien³. I'm sure he will do fine.
The legend has returned.

Of course. It'd be a great tribute to George Perez.
And yeah, Hawkeye landing the kill blow was a great moment for him.
Remember folks. He's the only Marvel character to be officially part of the Justice League.
That's something.
Never let anyone tell you Hawkeye is a loser.
