Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

@Very Honestly? Yeah, I'd like that, too.
I wouldn't be super heartbroken if that didn't happen but it'd be a sight that would warm my heart.
Heck, I'm willing to tolerate even Finn Jones coming back!
...Man, I really need to get to watching Iron Fist one day.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Thinking about the Thunderbolts, another way to tie it back into the Netflix-verse is to have Dinah Madani be the arranger. She's gone full spook by the end of Season 2 and is totally resigned to it and tried to recruit Frank for the exact same thing they'd be doing, and given that they're likely going to be played up as the MCU Suicide Squad, she'd effectively be their Amanda Waller.
Oh, absolutely, but it's still funny that she almost got ganked by her.
DHS Agent Dinah Madani, certified badass who survived a run-in with the Punisher and the collapse of a massive CIA conspiracy, almost died ignominiously at the hands of an ordinary civilian with no combat training and little muscle mass who's probably never thrown a punch in her life. Even if she won in the end (and then went on to mortally wound Russo right after, no less) that's gotta sting her pride at least a little.
Like Daredevil getting tazed by Owlsley, who remains the only Daredevil foe with a perfect, undefeated battle record against Daredevil.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Ah. Heh its kinda funny that she got depowered in a show with a character who actually has superpowers. I mean if she appeared in DD I can understand turning her into a normal human, but against Iron Fist? Just another instance of the Netflix shows downplaying the more overt superpowered stuff.
If Mary were to appear again she'll probably get the whole shebang here.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah, I'd like to see Typhoid Mary return, probably crossing paths with Matt just like Maya Lopez inevitably will. Night Thrasher and White Tiger would also be nice new additions to the general Marvel Knights milieu.
And I'm fine with Mary not being powered, or getting them later on.

- Jessica: How are you even alive and why are you purple?
- Kilgrave: The Blip something something paradigm shift something something the multiverse! I think it probably has something to do with Spider-Man. In any case, that's not important. It's time to carry out my true agenda, which has actually been my goal this entire time: Revenge on Tony Stark.
In all honesty, Kara and Jess colliding and the former actually being a fundamentally good person with really awful powers and the latter wanting to give the former the benefit of the doubt, but greatly struggling to not treat her like a ticking time bomb who will ultimately turn out just like her father would make for great drama.
Jess: “Tony’s dead”
Killgrave: “Dangit. I can probably get revenge posthumously right?”
Jess: “It’s been done. By Mysterio”
Killgrave: “That’s dumb. You’re dumb”
Forever liveblogging the Avengers

Doesn't Purple Man in the comics also have a Healing Factor?
