Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! This pinned post is here to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules
still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread
. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed without spoiler tagging for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.
If you're posting tagged spoilers, make sure that the film or series is clearly identified outside the spoiler tagging. People need to know what will be spoiled before they choose to read the post.

You and I remember Budapest very differently
I'm hoping for it to be part gritty Netflix-style Cape Punk, part rez drama. This would also be a good place to have Frank Castle return, since Maya seems like the kind of person he'd identify with and try to mentor.

Frank's way less of a moral absolutist here, though I could see it starting out that way based off her prior associations. It'd probably be a Fire-Forged Friends kinda deal when something goes down that forces them to work together.
Her ruthless behaviour of wanting revenge on her father's murderer?
Which, manipulated into it or not, Clint still did.
In fact, I don't think she hurts or kills anyone else during the entire thing, besides maybe Fisk.
One Strip! One Strip!I'm not sure if Jon Bernthal would want to reprise his role as the Punisher if it isn't exclusively R-rated. And given Fisk's less-than-impressive reappearance, I'd say he has reasonable incentive to hold off.
I kinda hope Valentina shows up in this show, if only to more clearly establish the relationship between her and Kingpin. Outside of that, the show sounds like a neat idea. Here's hoping it comes through.

"I'm Mr. Blue, woah-woah-ooh..."So far, I'll admit it looks pretty funny so far! Though I am a bit confused, I thought Jennifer wasn't a fan of being herself as opposed to She-Hulk?
Also like how Bruce still has some of that Ragnarok-Endgame goofy energy. Either it's Thor rubbing off on him, or the merging of his personalities has made the Hulk side more of a prankster. Either way, I do hope he gets to do some more action than in Endgame.
Will this show work? I dunno. But so far, I definitely feel more invested in this than Ms. Marvel.

"I'm Mr. Blue, woah-woah-ooh..."Jen in her first solo preferred being herself initially and felt like turning into She-Hulk was ruining her life
Until her life spiraled into the garbage and then she preferred being She-Hulk as a way to escape that
And pretty much after that she preferred being She-Hulk 24/7
Almost no She-Hulk stuff takes inspiration from her first run but maybe this show is

Forever liveblogging the AvengersOh, I'm hyped for this now. It looks like a lot of fun. Though I do hope Jennifer not being happy with her powers is a temporary thing, otherwise that'd feel like a bit too much of a departure from her comics self.
CGI looks a bit wonky but I don't really mind.
When we're done, there won't be anything left. Her hair quadrupling in volume is spot on.
I'm disappointed by how slim and untonned she looks, I was kind of hoping for a bit more of a power fantasy.
But it does look fun, which is what She Hulk should be.
Interesting to see Bruce isn't wearing his arm splint anymore.
In other news that cast for Echo looks amazing. Seems it's goig to mostly take place on her family's reservation.
