I think about that quite often actually. I also think about how we're going to die and how my body really isn't totally awesome.
I am not really "normal" on this front though.

The reason why we are "least concern" is because we are not anywhere near in danger of extinction—there are nearly 7 billion of us in every continent, including people researching in antarctica. One may even argue that there are too many of us, with which I agree.
