Mythical creatures?

I guess Wu can create some.

The war for Earth is about to begin....

Depends on what makes the creature mythical. If it's just physical appearance, it's not that hard. Like, a cockatrice is just a raptor that still has feathers but also has a beak and a crest. But if you need the paralyzing stare, that makes it harder.

How would it do so? No creatures actually CREATE that kind of response. The best of them just prey on our "what the fuck is that thing?" distracted response.

Tentacled snakes (though in this case it's the escape response, not the freeze response, but same idea)?

Or it looks so bizarre that it causes the prey to freeze in terror, inadvertently paralyzing its prey.

That's hypnosis, not creating a paralyzing response.. Still works.

Random thought.

Man, Mosasaurus is probably one of the biggest kill stealers in the cinema history. XD

I'm calling it now - the next Jurassic World is a literal Jurassic World 20 years later and it's basically Dinotopia.

[up][up][up] Now I want to see famous kill scenes in cinema history reimagined with the Mosasaurus popping out of nowhere at the last minute to steal those kills. [lol]

But that would make it a Deus Mosa Machina, not a Deus T. rex Machina!

Now I'm imagining every movie villain's death being replaced by Mosasaurchomp.

Die Hard - Hans Gruber falls down from a building...and Mosasaurchomp jumps and swallows him.

Jaws - Mosasaurus eats Jaws.

Etc.

The Nazis open up the Ark of the Covenant, then the Mosasarus jumps out of the Ark and eats them.

Jack Torrance sits frozen in the snow... and then the Mosasaurus slides down from the mountain behind him, scooping his frozen body into her mouth.

"I won't kill you... but I don't have to save you either."

Batman flips Ra's al Ghul a salute and leaps out of the train car just as the Mosasaurus jumps into it and eats Ra's.

Dave is carefully unplugging HAL's memory banks while HAL begs him not to go through with it... and then the Mosasaurus bursts through the hull wall, devouring the entire computational core.

Bane is about to kill Batman...and then out of nowhere Mosasaur slides into the building, chomps Bane, and then slides out.
