"I have spells that can speed our way," said Angrod. "If you can describe the city in detail, I'll scry it and teleport us to it."
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home."Tiamat, what exactly do you WANT to do? We must give mortals free will, and even if we edge them towards peace, war may still come. You can do nothing to prevent it if it does." The god of light sighed. "Us forbid we don't make everyone immortal."
What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?Adara sounds passionate as she speaks. We may not be able to stop War. But by Our Names we can make it end with little casulities. We MUST help them. We MUST show them the right path! We must create Champions of Justice and Hope!
She sighs. In my universe entire worlds were engulfed in "eternal wars" or fights to prove who's right. I don't want to see any of our children go to war. I swear to all of you. If any of you convince your followers to go to war as some form of lesson or punishment... My Children will not show mercy.
"Mercy? You know, we certainly brag about our creations' strengths a lot for all this talk of peace. I suggest, again, that we merely let events come to pass, subtly guiding them towards peace. Unless one of you can actually put forth a better idea."
What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?"Thank you again, Adara! That's what I've been trying to say! War is inevitable. We can't stop it, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't bother to lessen its impact!"
It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve."I'm glad we agree." Horakhty smiled broadly.

On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.A pegasus flies away from Eponia City. She lazily flies out over the desert around Eponia. After a couple of loopy-de-loops, she settles in for a long flight, Good thing I have one- What am I doing thinking like that... Far and wide she searches for any other signs of civilization. She passed through desert and ocean, yet found nothing. She flew threw decaying lands, and those bountiful in wildlife, and yet found nothing. Finally, as she was just about to give up hope, and return with news of failure to the Lady, while flying low she sees what looks to be a city around an oasis. Tucking in her wings, she dives down, unfurling them at the last moment, allowing her to softly touch down on the outskirts of the city. She enters.

The pony is almost immediately intercepted by a trio of robed and hooded figures; she has broken some the spells that the Prophet put around Zaara. "Halt!" One of them said, and lifted one thin hand. One of the others had a drawn longbow in his hands, and he lined its sights at the pony; the other withdrew a slender wand, and pointed it at her as well.

On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home."I come seeking aide. I am a part of a group attempting to overthrow a terrible tyrant, but we lack the power to do it alone, so, upon learning that there may be beings other than ponies, we sent out scouts to seek out and ally with other people. I came upon your city after a long time of searching for other races, and failing." Wind Leaf raises her head and tentatively takes a step forward towards the leader of the group of elves.
"She speaks the truth... in a way," cautioned the wand-wielder. The leader nodded, and said, "A tyrant? Come with me, and tell me more." He motioned for her to follow, and started to walk away from the encampment, setting a brisk pace toward a nearby dune. The wand-wielder followed him, while the bowman kept his bow trained on the pony, obviously waiting for her to follow.

It was a rather large one, and its top was covered by small plants. On it, there was a small sandstone sculpted to the likeness of a chair. The leader sat down, while the wand-wielder stood behind him, and the bowman maintained his position behind Wind Leaf. "Tell me more," said the leader.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home."In my land, Eponia, we are ruled by the God-Princess Celestia with her legion of bureaucrats. Supposedly, we have a say in the government through our senate, but senators really just buy there way into power, and have very little power themselves. As such, Celestia has effectively complete and total control over the government." She pauses to catch a breath, "She rules with her self interest and preservation in mind, and spends more time covering up our problems than solving them. However, not only does she control our political system, but our economic system, through institutions such as the Bank of the Sun. We originally sought for peaceful ways to solve the problem, but the Lady took us under her wings, and showed us the light. No one could stop it peacefully. No, we were being subtlety mind controlled by Celestia, we just didn't notice, and our groups were the only people unaffected by it. We ask for aid in our coming battles against the tyrant, if not through pony-power, at least through aid."
"Hm... Tell me about this 'Lady' of yours," said the leader.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.Wind Leaf smiles broadly, "She hides in the shadows where Celestia's light does not reach. She is kind and motherly. She shows us respect, and gives us freedom. She has taught us many things, from how to fight the forces of the Princess, to how to hunt for food in any land. She is all but a goddess in mind, if weak in body."
"Tell me more," he demanded. While he was tempted to believe the pony, the priest's warning echoed in his mind.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.Wind Leaf seems perplexed, "More?" Why is he so interested in the Lady? Does he not trust her? "She is quiet and subtle. She fights for all ponies against the tyrant, but has again and again been pushed back. She has been labelled as a monster and a coward by the government. The government pinned upon her crimes of the tyrant, and created an army just to destroy her, and yet she is not bitter, and does not even wish to kill the tyrant, despite Celestia's crimes against ponykind. Celestia deserves worse than her."

"Have you... any proof for what you say?" He asked.

"My name is Angrod of the Zehir, Cloudburst, and I am, too, pleased to meet you," said the unmasked elf (Aegnor still had his hood up). Meanwhile, the gate that he summoned vanished. "I would like, if it is possible, to learn more about your species... the Children of the Moon, right?"
