"I see." Ian said to Daisuke. "Hopefully, you'll be a good asset to the team."
Ian picked up the tranquilizer gun, a Swiss Army knife, and a few smoke grenades and carried them back to his locker. It was more than he needed, but yet again, using his vampire abilities too much would attract attention. If he bit down on someone, their whole cover would be blown. So he was to make sure he had his fill before going to the casino, and playing it safe. With hope, he wouldn't have to use the weapons.
Joshua laughed at Alice's comment. "Does it matter if we're not overthrowing the government? Always be ready for anything, I say. Who knows; what if the Army is actually there? I'll laugh at you if you don't have a gun, because I sure as hell will."
Sorry guys, I slept in.
"No liquid explosives, huh?" Bianca looks over the pile. "Alice and the crazy lady are right. If we're going to be noisy and destroy things, it should only be as a distraction or a decoy, not our actual strategy."
Warm hugs and morally questionable advice given here. Prosey BitchfestDeinonychus laughed as he approached the group centered around the weapon pile, "Mr. Grimm, our goal is discreetness and you decided that it's best to carry this much weaponry, hmmm? Bullock, only trigger-happy fools think that's a wise idea, in fact, it is the most incompetent concept I've ever seen." He brushed some dust off of his collar, "I suggest a better plan before you end up blowing our cover."
To Yuki, and wearing a twisted grin, Alice said, "hey, leveling the place and digging through the remains sounds fun to me!" Then, her face turning serious, she said, "jokes aside, though, we seriously need some kinda scheme. Right. Hey, kid! Daisuke! You seem to have an appreciation for the less noisy things in life. You and the girl," she pointed at Yuki, "might work well together for getting rid of the guards. I've got some shit to deal with, but afterwards, I'll happily join you."
Then, looking at the weapons stash, she said, "don't worry, you heavy weapons freaks can do your thing. Raise some hell. Make some noise. The more security you slaughter or scare off, the fewer we have to deal with." They'd probably get killed. Not her problem. She then said, "so. Anyone here able to crack safes?"
Ian reappeared in the room with the weapon pile. He lowered his head with a smile. "They're right. Do you really think we need all of these weapons? I doubt we need a gatling gun. Stealth is key. It is a skill that I honed over the years."
Although he had unloaded most of the weapons into his locker, he kept the butterfly knife and the pistol on him, just in case things got messy. Most of the people he was going to work with were experienced fighters.
"Oh, and you realize that we don't want too much blood on our hands, correct? I don't graciously kill innocents, only people that try to kill me. If any of you try to open fire onto a crowd, I will stop you."

"Don't worry," Jonathan said Ian, "there will be a lot of people trying to kill you. Casinos have really tight security, and with something this important, there'll probably be a small army around the place.
"What we need is some kind of tech support. Somebody with computer skills, who can hack into the security systems and send false signals to the camera or something. I knew someone who could do that, but..." His voice trailed off.
"And if everything goes to hell, firepower will be incredibly important. Now, I'm not discounting stealth, but don't discount guns either."
Her nap was dreamless and revitalising. The bed is much more softer than her's, which makes it feel like she's falling into a sinkhole, wherever she lay. She's in her nightgown, with a cutsy bell hat to boot - when she rubs her eyes and heads out her door to see what's the fuss.
They are chatting at the hangar, each busy unloading parcels and boxes from the parked Ferrari. Shion notices they're mostly weapons containers.
"We come up with some plan yet?" she says. "How're we going about botching this Casino deal?— wait.. that Kobayashi left us a laptop.. it has clues."
She rushes on back to her room, and grabs the blackened case off her nightstand - then she's toddering, the laptop already opened and just booting awake. Finding a free table to put it on, she turns the laptop around so everyone can see.
The picture files are laid in the folder 'Trinidad Assets'. You can easily notice from the thumbnail previews they're of blueprints, staff bios. Here is the jackpot! She clicks on one of the pics.

"You know what?" Jonathan said to no one in particular. "We should have some kind of meeting. Get together, introduce ourselves, tell what we're good at, that sort of thing. It'll be easier to plan that way."
He leaned out the door to the garage and said to the people milling around the Ferrari, "Hey, stop be the armory in about five minutes or so, 'kay? We need to meet together to come up with at least the start of a plan."
To the people in the firing range, he yelled, "Meeting! Armory! Five minutes! Be there!"
He explored the bunker, told everyone he could about the meeting, and went to the armory, waiting for everyone else to show up. He hoped they'd actually listen to him.
Joshua returned to his bed, setting his stuff down before laying on it. He saw that some of the others were beginning to plan. It didn't bother him all that much. He could only really do two things for this particular mission anyhow: run and gun, or snipe. Anything else and he'd probably be rather useless. Not that it mattered; the whole thing was just another chapter in his adventure to find out how many ways he could possibly get himself killed.
I'll be leaving for awhile; baseball game!
Bianca, having nothing else to do, goes to the armory immediately and walks around. She hopes that they won't ignore her just because she doesn't have knowledge on technology, or she might have to get physical. The labeled metal crates and dim lighting create a labrynith. She finds a crate that isn't labeled as explosive and sits on it so she can return to the handbook.
Back in half an hour.
Warm hugs and morally questionable advice given here. Prosey Bitchfest"Liquid explosives?" he asks... Bianca? He distinctly remembered an Italian name. "Fancy, that. What exactly do you propose to do with these bombs, now? Blow a hole in the vault?"
Then someone called for a meeting and Rob's attention shifted.
"An armory," Robert moaned. "In a den of thieves. Liquid explosives for burgling. My, my, my. This generation is just so..."
He toddled on to the armory anyway. Planning was fun. At least, more fun than the parts where wrenches were thrown and guns were shot and his nice new Armani suit now had bullet holes and bloodstains on it that would need to be taken to a private dry cleaner who had experience with this sort of thing.
He found himself next to the girl who'd asked for liquid explosives.
"Sorry, but I really need to know what your name is before I keep thinking of you as Liquid Explosives Girl. Also hi, my name's Rob." He held out his hand for a shake.
Alice, having nothing better to do, arrived at the armory, and took a seat on the case of nerve gas she'd quietly dragged in. Then she said, "OK, so... let's see if I've got this straight. You in the dress..." Alice examine her before recalling her name, "Bianca, was it? I gather you're not from around these parts." Rubbing her head, she added, "fucking Anomalies are getting real extensive, ain't they? Soon as this meeting's over, I've got an expert on the topic I need to talk to." Then, returning her attention to Bianca, she said, "I gather you're a bit uncomfortable with modern tech. But that arm of yours makes me think there's more to you than meets the eye. Bit of magic in that arm, or just tech? Either way, don't underestimate yourself."
Then she turned to Johnathon, "And, you, Johnny... you ain't said much about yourself, least not that I've heard. I'm not gonna ask you to give me your life story, though, and I expect the same courtesy from you." Examining him thoughtfully, she said, "but you've decided to try and herd us cats. You're either a genius or a complete fuckhead, but for now, I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt."
"As for you, Rob was it? You talk like someone older than you look. You seem to have fair idea what the fuck you're doing, though. Like I said before, I don't really give a shit about your past, but I get the feeling it'd be an interesting tale if you ever get the whim to tell it."
She stretched out and laid lazily on her crate, and then said, "well, this is gonna be a fun little raid."

Shion says to Charlie, "That's the laptop Kobayashi left with us, from the jail cell. Huh, I wonder what you could make what's in it. It looks like a lotta business crap inside, and I never liked taking business class in college. All these forms and terms you got to handle. Peh. I bet you can do it better than I can. C'mon, let's head to the armoury."
She waddles down the passageways, getting lost four times before she finds the armoury room. It looks like a cavern; she can hardly see the rough stalactite ceiling above. Hung on some aisles at the back are various tools and guns stocked on shelves - while there's a polished wood conference table at the forefront. Some unpacked crates are stacked at a distant corner.
They are so prepared.
Shion almost trips on her slippers, feeling dizzy from the spatial grandeur, and she picks a spot to sit by the table. The laptop goes in the middle. Do they have a projector?

Yuki made her way to the table, twirling her keys around her finger as she went. Their motley assortment of allies (were they allies?) was something she had yet to fully contemplate. From her perspective, it seemed that their employer would have picked his team more efficiently, with a focus on balanced abilities and specialties, but so far what she'd seen felt more like a bunch of gun-toting mercenaries than thieves.
No one believes me when I say angels can turn their panties into guns."Hello, Rob. I'm Bianca." She shakes hands with him. "And I'm certainly not from around these parts, Alice. Where I come from, a heist means dodging magically triggered obstacles and finding patterns to get to the next level of security. I need liquid explosives to make small bombs as distractions, but I'm not sure if the ones from this world are too strong for that."
"Oh, and the arm." Bianca sighs and drums the metal fingers on the table. "It's supposed to be all clockwork, but I suspect it's leeching off my soul."
Warm hugs and morally questionable advice given here. Prosey Bitchfest"It's not going to be a Raiders Of The Lost Ark," Shion says to Bianca. "Modern security relies on careful surveillence - you ever been to a casino? You can't go two steps without some guy, jerking off from a camera overhead. Even the washrooms are tapped. It doesn't rely on blind devices that get triggered off by accident.
"That means.." She drums her fingers on the tabletop, paralleling her rising excitement. "Human error. The first and most prevalent of error lies in our perception. It's why optickal illusions exist, and that comes with the magician's sleight-of-hand. You hear where I'm going with this? Distraction. That's our key. They only have so many people watching hundreds.. thousands."

Another girl, with a much higher propensity for swearing, sat down on a crate and gave Rob a mixed bag to respond to.
"I'm flattered, love, but I'm not older. Just English—and if I do say so myself, experienced. Unless..." He looked around, then decides not to bring up the subject of how many people were older than twenty-five and had actually gone through a heist of similar scale.
"Anyway, Bianca, there's more to distractions than liquid explosives, as Shion has so kindly noted. Plants in the crowd causing commotions and diverting security, hacking into the system and replacing screens with looped footage, fake identification as staff... And if all else fails, spray painting the cameras will do in a pinch."

"I have other ways of distracting people," Bianca says primly. "Tell me what to do. I'm sneaky."
Warm hugs and morally questionable advice given here. Prosey Bitchfest"What we really need," Yuki said. "Is a way to make their security cameras see what we want them to see, so all we have to do is deal with the security on the ground."
"From there, we need to figure out how we're going to get down to the vault. Easiest way would be to disguise ourselves as staff and hide in plain sight."
No one believes me when I say angels can turn their panties into guns.Alice said, "OK, not gonna lie, I don't do casinos. Can't do a job that big working solo. But if we start making a mess, first thing on some clever security guy's head is gonna be thinking 'they're trying to distract us'. So we aren't just gonna say, 'Team A, raise hell, Team B, waltz right the fuck on in and start looting.' Besides, in this day and age, who knows what they've got? I mean, look at us, and consider, the other team's playing by the same rules. Keep that in mind."
Grimacing, Alice said, "All those bits said, I'm not a planner. Make shit up as I go along, that's me. Give me a good plan, I'll follow it. But to be honest, whatever plan we make here, it will fall apart." Then, her grimace turning into a demented grin, she added, "that's what I call the fun part."

"You know, this is all very entertaining, but I do have a question," Yuki said as she peered at their new weapons stash. "Are you planning on robbing the casino or demolishing it? Because last time I checked, breaking into a place involved stealth and slight of hand. This seems very... brutish."
She tapped her chin thoughtfully for a few seconds. "I suppose we should try to gather everyone and look at our options. Try to come up with a plan of attack. And I mean attack in the loosest sense possible. Run and gun isn't my style."
No one believes me when I say angels can turn their panties into guns.
