Nasus gave a grim smile as the turret fell, but the feeling of satisfaction was quickly wiped away by one of surprise as Luxanna, a Crownguard of Demacia and fellow Champion of the League. He regarded the young woman inquisitively for a moment.
" Crownguard." He greeted. " You have been absent." The Curator noted. " Myself and others will have many questions for you afterwards, I sense. But first, the spawn must be dealt with."
He intoned another ritual quickly and summoned flames upon the new minion wave, before setting off down the same path Kog'Maw had taken before him. As he drew near to the beast that was facing Swain's assault, he extended a hand a spoke a word of power.
The abomination that was spawned from the Void became suddenly slow and brittle as it aged a decade in a second, and continued growing older and slower over the next several seconds.

Your legacy shall drift away, blown into eternity, like the sands of the desert. The money was indeed real, and paid in full.
The monster screeched as its eyes were shot out, leaving gooey holes where they used to be. However, its senses were not dulled. For it could feel every vibration the champions and Recette made.
The Master Sword stabbed into its claw and stuck fast. However, the claw closed around Link and lifted him into the air, starting to squeeze. The remaining claw roved around for Recette, trying to feel for her vibrations.
Recette scooted back up against the stairs, trying to get away from the roving claw.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Garland was too far away at this point to accurately attack the head, and he didn't think he could get close through all the waving claws, armour or no. Instead, he jumped into the air as high as he could (which wasn't particularly high considering all the weight he carried), switched his weapon to the flail, and aimed a great downwards smash at a particularly large crack on the creature's exoskeleton.
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in."Oh no you don't!" Grey said as Nocturne attacked Erio, the reploid holding fire as he aimed one of his busters. A thin cursor went up his field of vision* , marking Nocturne with a red bracket. As he depressed the trigger, a long, curving purple beam was fired from the buster arced up toward the cieling before diving toward the Eternal Nightmare, obviously hoping to strike the being from above. If it dodged, then the beam would continue to follow it for a short while.

Locking you up on radar since '09Magma Chamber, Right Lane...
Cho'Gath barely managed to avoid being struck by Hrunting, the blade sailing past less than an inch from its elongated cranium. The beast began to lumber towards Archer, intending to engage the heroic spirit with its deadly talons and pincers.
At this point, Malzahar himself took action. Wordlessly, the insane desert nomad raised one gloved hand to point at Archer, and then a pulsing haze of noxious purple miasma erupted from his outstretched fingers to whorl and swirl about the head of the warrior; though this gas did not alter his perceptions enough to impede his ability to fight, it did fill Archer's mind with vivid images and visions of his own demise, malefic sights which threatened to overwhelm the integrity of the warrior's being.
Middle Lane...
Between all these attacks, Nocturne finally fell, his dark voice chuckling ominously in the minds of those present as he disintegrated into black mist once more.
Kog'Maw chittered to himself in surprise as Saren's biotic powers lifted him into the air, waggling his tiny feet as he drifted helplessly some fifteen feet above the ground; he tried to continue spitting at the turian but, divorced from gravity's hold as he currently was, this only made the Mouth of the Abyss spin chaotically in place, causing his caustic spittle and gastric juice to shoot off in almost every conceivable direction. Then Nasus' spell took effect, rapidly aging the diminutive abomination to the point of near-decrepitude; and Swain, seeing that his original strategem to finish the creature off was now unnecessary, aborted that plan of action and instead directed his raven familiar to fix its six-eyed gaze upon Kog'Maw before he channelled a potent spell through the sinister corvid.
Once more scintillating bolts of lightning leapt from the unblinking red orbs of the unnatural carrion bird to blast Kog'Maw, their withering and destructive power amplified both by the accelerated aging forced upon the creature by the Curator of the Sands and Swain's own earlier spell; in less than a second, the eldritch flames and purple electricity finished their work, and Kog'Maw was slain.
Yet that was not the end of things, for the Mouth of the Abyss had one final surprise in store for them; its abominable form still clinging to a sliver of life for the moment, Kog'Maw spun himself around in mid-air and fired a single large wad of phlegm at the ceiling, thereby propelling himself towards Saren with incredible speed. As the tiny horror flew through the air towards its turian victim, rays of light began to shine forth ominously from its glassy dead eyes, out from its mouth, and through the numerous cracks and holes in its epidermis...
Left Lane...
Weakened as they were by the spiritual flames of Nasus' ritual, the purple minions were losing ground to their blue counterparts. It was still an uphill battle for the blue minions, however, because the Champions were not lifting a finger to help them at the moment...and seconds later, diabolical laughter from further down the lane heralded the imminent arrival of Fiddlesticks.
The Danse Macabre CodexArcher winced as the visions danced before his eyes, though he kept one eye open and trained on Cho'gath. Slowly he started to smirk a bit as Hrunting sailed around in an arc behind Cho. It made a complete U-turn and sailed at the creature's back. "A little late." He said dryly to the caster of the illusions. He already met his end more then once, showing him more wouldn't have the intended effect.
Rey turned his head at the sound of the laughter, holding the lightsaber out to one side, while reaching for the crowbar in his other hand, eyes going red yet again. "Oh this sound cannot be good." He tilted his head forward slightly, glancing around, then summoned up another ribbon of shadows at the end of the crowbar, sending it spiraling into the midst of the enemy minions, starting forward through a path he was cutting for himself, brandishing both weapons at whatever the approaching menace was.
Easing back into life one step at a timeNasus nodded crisply at Swain as he finished off the beast. " Tactician." He intoned as a greeting, before turning tail back to the left lane.
Upon reaching it, he walked forward unflinchingly into the crowd of minions and struck a wounded one with his siphoning strike. The minion's diminutive life force flowed back into him, strengthening his strike and healing him slightly.
Nasus grinned slightly and moved on to the next minion, to repeat the process.
Your legacy shall drift away, blown into eternity, like the sands of the desert."Kikoken!" Chun-li fired a chi blast at the purple minions, hoping to destroy them.
Wizard Needs Food Badly— Beneath the helm, one of the Turian's plated brows rose at the sight of this grisly missile speeding his way, and the information his scan-visor was feeding him.
Saren concentrated, causing the air to buzz as he prepared the Charge.
Before Kogmaw's corpse could get into range, he zipped sideways as a bolt of blue light surrounded by miasma... into another lane, not three meters away from Cho'Gath. —
"He could not know it. For it was not all a joke.""Agghh!" Caught off guard, Link found himself caught in the scorpion's deadly grip, the mounting pressure threatening to shatter most of his bones - if not to kill him outright.
Recette... No!
With an immense effort, he managed to free his left arm. Reaching for the Master Sword (which was still embedded in its claw), he began to hew at the joint that connected both pincer and forearm, aiming to free himself.
I'm coming Miss... I'm coming....

The noises were coming from the middle hall, something that Bowser would be able to tell fairly easily.
The claw started to tighten. It grew tighter, and tighter, and tighter...
With an ugly, wet, meaty sound, the Master Sword finally hacked through the joint and the claw dropped like a stone, still holding onto Link. The monster screamed and thrashed, the remaining claw just barely missing crushing Recette. Garland's mace cracked the creature's back wide open, and finally, the bombs hit it in the face... and then exploded.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Cletus was thrown forcefully at the wall, producing a loud smack as he hit it before crumpling to the ground. He struggled to get up shortly afterward, the armor singed heavily. There were noticable dents up and down the chest of the armor, and the coat was now ripped to shreds. He collapsed and began trying to catch his breath after the wind was knocked out of him on impact. He offered what remained of the bomb bag to Link.
"That... that was not one of my best ideas. I think I owe you some bombs, kid."
...and that's terrible.Prying himself free of the severed claw with a cry, Link slumped to the ground, trying to catch his breath.
Okay... so... the Master Sword won't work on that thing...
Need a better plan...
Getting to his feet, he removed a large metal ball about the size of his upper body from his pouch, before beginning to swing it around via the chain that was attached to it, something that would be impossible for a normal human to do.
He let go. The ball flew towards the scorpion's head with boulder-crunching force, and with impressive accuracy and speed.
The ball and chain proved to be unneccessary. The creature's headless body flopped forward with a crashing sound, its head entirely blown off by the explosion. The ball lodged itself in the charred stump that remained.
Recette took her hands away from her ears and sat up.
"... It's dead!"
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up.""Um... yeah... but... That was scary!" Recette replied. "Most of the big monsters at the end of dungeons aren't that scary, that was was way scarier then the others!"
She seemed shaken, but pretty much alright and quickly recovering. Tear was sitting on the steps, catching her breath.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."

"Well, there is the Kikoken and Kikosho," Chun-li said and then bowed to the three. "I am Chun-li"
