"... Definitely reminding me about my experience with Makura..." Shotaro said in regards to Alouette.

"F-friends?" Alouette seemed completely shocked by this suggestion. The mere thought seemed to be making her go red. "N-no way! I would never be friends with my rival! She's a peasant!"

The Doctor chuckles. Adorable "A peasant with something you found beautiful."

"... From your tone, it seems to be that you're more than friends with Recette." Shotaro said.

"Well... um... yeah..." Alouette didn't seem to know how to respond to this for a moment, before seeming to come up with a bright idea. "I bought it as a charity!"

Then Shotaro spoke.

Silence.

The Doctor obviously sees through this. "OK then."

Alouette was staring at Shotaro, eyes wide. She seemed to have no idea whatsoever on how to respond to that. She almost seemed to have gone blue.

"Um... You OK?"

The Doctor waves his hand in front of her eyes.

Cletus stepped forward, looking at the cave for any sign of structural weakness.

"Ah~! I knew it! You like her!" Shotaro said.

"... I-idiot!" Alouette cried, finally regaining her ability to speak in almost an instant, she'd ran over to Shotaro and kneed him, as hard as she could, in the lower stomach.

"Don't say weird things like that!"

The ruins were old, and had quite a few cracks an crevices in the stone. It was likely there were plenty of structural weaknesses.

Recette was still entirely cheerful, peering into the darkness, with Tear hovering by her shoulder. "Hmmm..."

"Ough!" Shotaro said, clutching his gut.

"So..."

"I'll go first, if it's ok with you, Miss..."

Drawing the Master Sword and hefting his shield, Link stepped through the dungeon entrance.

The Doctor jumps back. "Um Miss... Assault of the shopkeepers will not be allowed in this store."

Alouette folded her arms and turned away from Shotaro, now quite red, almost luminiscently so. "H-he deserved it! He said something really weird!"

Recette blinked, looking up at Link. She nodded, her smile returning a few moments later. "Sure! I'm not really any good at fighting anyway."

"As long as he is not hitting on you assault is not allowed. And if he is flirting... let the monkey handle it."

Alouette's expression now switched to one of utter mortification. "Hitting on me? But... he's... he's way too old!"

Shotaro wasn't exactly old, but to 12-13 year old Alouette, he was. That, and he wasn't Recette.

"What? I did no such thing!" Shotaro said.

"Which is why we let the monkey handle it."

The Doctor whispers to Alouette. "Say what do you think of the bowtie?"

"Bow... tie?"

Alouette blinked. That had come so out of no where that she wasn't sure how to respond to it. What did she care? It was some guy's bow tie!

"It's.. nice? I don't know, why would I care? Just... um... I'm going to le-"

Her stomach growled.

"... Ah... can you show me your food selection?"

Fluttershy winced when Alouette kneed Shotaro in the stomach. "Um, well.....I have two friends who has a pretty fierce rivalry," the pony said to Alouette. "Both are very athletic ponies and lots of times they try to beat each in different competitions. But despite this, the remain very good friends with each other. I think deep down you really do care about Recette as a friend, Ms. Alouette, its just that you're not expressing it well enough."

A beat.

"Um, I'm sorry if I'm lecturing, I don't want to impose....." she apologized. Then Alouette asked for some food. "Oh yes, right, the food section!" the pony said. "Follow me," Fluttershy instructed Alouette, trotting over the requested section of the store.

The Doctor waits until Alouette leaves then pumps his fist. "Yes she likes it! I'm totally going to tell Amy and Rory!"

The surrealness of the talking pony giving her a lecture on friendship did nothing to cut Alouette's hunger. She took a deep breath, and followed Fluttershy, looking the food over closely, hoping to banish recent thoughts from her mind.

Link returned the smile, and continued walking.

"Say... do you come here often?"

"A description of what these places are like would be very useful..."

He lit his lantern, and held it in front of him, letting the soft glow of the burning oil fall on the path in front of them.

Cletus activated the Pip-Boy's backlight and pointed his wrist forward.

"Let's see... a dungeon is typically an underground portion of a building, for use in holding prisoners and storage of valuables. But... this looks very old. Surely it's been cleaned out by now."
