Alphonse frowned, sighed, said something about how reckless his brother was, and got back to calling Winry, asking her for anything Edward would need. "She'll be here in five minutes, we should be done in fifteen." He said, mid-call, as he placed Edward where Cloud and Shotaro were.

"Yessir!" Luigi said, jumping up and striking a pose. "I'm a-Luigi! Number a-one!" He smiled, before tilting his head and staring quizically at Leo. "And you are...?"
Inside the Tesseract
Hearing no reply, Proto Man continued towards the solid wooden door, thoughts still clouded with bewilderment as he made a futile effort to understand his new surroundings. He paused directly in front the door, nervously tugging at his scarf as his mind conjured up images of the surprised owner of the room gaping at him through the sturdy doorframe. Reciting apology speeches to the flustered man or woman of the house in his head, he cautiously reached for the doorknob, cracking the door open slightly and taking a ginger peek behind it.
To his surprise, there was no lavish master bedroom behind the mahogany door, nor was there any sign of the owner. Instead, the robot was greeted by the most unusual sight of a hexagonal, light-lined hallway. "Whoa...", he exclaimed in quiet awe, drinking the unexpected sight in as he carefully opened the door further and took a few small steps into the hall. The blue glow washed over his red helmet and armor, making it appear a reddish purple as he slowly advanced further in, his metal boots making heavy, metallic thuds that echoed through the hall. Noticing the multitude of doors that lined the corridor, he stopped in his tracks for a more careful look. "This some kind of billionaire's spaceship house or somethin'?" He pondered aloud, looking intently at a metal door to his left.
Again being cautious lest he disturb the hypothetical inhabitants of this locale, he opened the door to find an even stranger sight than before. Is that... What is that? It's... Blank... The whiteness behind the empty door seemed to stare right back at Proto Man. He spent a while just standing in the doorway, trying to understand what he was looking at before he finally decided to shut the door, unaware of the infinite possibilities the seemingly empty void held. He slowly shut the door again, having more questions now than he did when he first landed on that carpet. Slowly making his way back to the warm living room, he again resorted to talking to himself, overwhelmed by the strange things he had seen.
"Damn... This is too weird."

"...But it is a beautiful moment," Chun-Li then looked over at Boyd. "Can someone arrest him?"

“No, nothing like that,” Sazh said, sighing as a feeling of familiar melancholy settled over him. “It’s just…well, my son Dajh never really got to know his mother, before shell…well…” He trailed off for a moment, looking away; when he spoke, the pilot’s voice had gone a little quiet. “Before she passed on.”
He didn’t say anything more, not wanting to burden the boy with the story of how his wife had died; that wasn’t the sort of thing a kid should be worrying about. Besides, he’d just met the boy; this wasn’t the sort of thing you told to a person you barely knew. He wasn’t even sure he’d caught the kid’s name, now that he thought about it.
It was at that moment that he heard a voice calling out from somewhere outside, followed by the sound of heavy metallic thudding that might have been footsteps. Blinking, Sazh turned towards the doorway, and found his eyebrows raising as he caught sight of a short—guy? It was hard to tell; the proportions seemed weird—dressed in some kind of a grey jumpsuit with a red helmet, a yellow scarf, and some seriously oversized boots and mitts.
…Well, this just kept getting weirder and weirder.
Sazh looked at the boy. “Excuse me, little man; gonna go check this out.”
And with those words, the l’Cie got to his feet and walked to the doorway, peering out to look in the direction Scarf had gone. The newcomer was shutting a door a short way down the hall, looking very confused…or at least, Sazh thought he looked confused. The helmet and visor made it kinda hard to tell.
In any case, the newcomer turned around and went back the way he came, into that fancy drawing room; after a moment, Sazh stepped out and followed him.
“Err, hey,” he called, not wanting to spook him. “Don’t think I saw you before; you new here?”
The Danse Macabre CodexJack slumped to the ground, letting out a heavy sigh as the crisis was, at last, averted. It had been close. For one terrible, heart-stopping instant, he had feared the worst. But once again, his comrades had succeeded, just as he had trusted they would. He took a brief moment to rest. The strain of so many heroics in such a short time was beginning to tell on him. But he made sure to keep one eye on Boyd while doing so.
A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent upon arriving. -Lao TzuCloud was just tying off Shotaro's bandages when Al's approaching footsteps caught his attention. He turned his gaze upward and stared at what formerly would have been a limb.
He wiped Shotaro's blood off on his shirt. "...Is everyone as bad as you two? 'Cause I'm out of gauze..." He sincerely hoped that city had a supplier somewhere. He would probably need more of a lot of things, painkillers among them.

Envy made a mental note towards the white-clad samurai, who'd foiled his plan to kill the main criminal himself. Great, just what I need.
"Consider yourself lucky that these people are around," Stepping on the now felled Dodgers to vent out his dissatisfaction, Envy stood against the wall while nonchalantly observe the others.
Ranmaru looked up and saw that the tower wasn't going to fall after all. With that issue solved, he quickly went to where Boyd was lamenting the failure of his evil plan.
Sparing Daffy a somewhat poisonous glance, Ranmaru looked down at the mind behind the scheme. “Mr. Boyd,” the feminine samurai said, “You are guilty with breaking the laws of the land. You have done so for money, which only makes the deed more disgusting.”
Drawing a small knife from his sash, he threw it down near Boyd's head. “Honour dictates that you will commit suicide to clean your name of the stain.”
"Th... thank you..." Shotaro said to Cloud. He then heard the clatter of the sword by Boyd's feet. His eyes widened as Ranmaru spoke of seppuku. While it's expected for a samurai like him to suggest such a thing, there was a clear flaw to this.
"H-hey!" Shotaro tried getting up again, but the pain heavily restrained him. Somehow, he had to warn the others that giving some murderer a knife would probably lead to some bad stuff... like the murderer using the knife to get out, provided the cuffs weren't slapped on already.

Jostled from his thoughts upon hearing a voice behind him, Proto Man quickly looked over his shoulder to find that a man had followed him back to the room with the fireplace, likely the house's owner. Somewhat surprised, but nonetheless relieved that the inevitable encounter was less awkward than he had imagined, he turned to face the guy, looking him over. Silently admiring his awesome 'fro and outfit, he mentally fumbled about for a response, trying to think of how to explain his predicament without sounding dumb or crazy.
"Uh, y-yeah, I just got here, sir. I, uh... Sorry for the intrusion. This is gonna sound completely crazy, but I sort of just appeared here out of the blue... If that makes sense."
He silently wondered why this guy didn't look ready to throw him out yet. Does this happen to him often...?

"Leo!" Luigi repeated, nodding. "That is a pretty good name. Not as a-good as Luigi, of course!" He chuckled, looking around the room. "So, you built this a-room with your mind?... Is this where you a-live? Are you a detective that doesn't play by the rules?"
Pride muttered an "oh", fidgeting slightly on his chair as he looked at his pictures. "I-I'm sorry, Mister Sazh... I didn't meant to— wait!" He said, jumping out of his chair and following him. "Is it someone new? Who is it?"

Alphonse walked up to Shotaro, grabbing him by his shoulders. "Please, can you come back? You're not well enough to walk..."
Daffy groaned as he fell to the floor. "Oh, she really loves me!"
Boyd looked at the dagger, laughing for a moment, before realizing the samurai was right. "Very well..." He said, surprisingly OK with committing suicide. He gingerly stood up, groaning as he felt his wound getting worse. With his normal hand, he grabbed the dagger and apparently held it the wrong way, with the hilt pointing to his chest... before attempting to stab Ranmaru right in the chest as hard as he could, as a last attempt to get vengeance at the ones who foiled his plan.
Ranmaru was quite ready for being attacked. After all, not all men were samurai who could behave honourably. Stepping three steps backwards and causing Boyd's wild strike to miss, he raised Iron Vengeance up high and struck toward the other man's neck. “You should have taken the honourable death I have offered,” he reprimanded Boyd.

On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.Shotaro was about to rest easy. Then his fears were confirmed. Boyd grabbed the knife and used it against Ranmaru. If he was at his full strength, he would gladly run and take the stab for Ranmaru, but the wounds were too much for him to even move. His eyes widened as Ranmaru dodged it and swung his sword at Boyd. All he can do now is watch in fear and grunt in pain.

Orpheus looked down at the glowing object sticking to him. A puzzled expression flew across Elizabeth's face for a second as she wondered what it was, before it exploded. Orpheus vanished, and Elizabeth gave a pained cry and fell to her knees.
Garland looked at her for a second, pieced a few things together (summoner, mental link, shared pain), before completely ignoring her and launching his flail up at the Elites. It might not have been able to reach them from the ground... but the enormous geyser of water that shot up from it probably would.

“Not as crazy as you might think,” Sazh said with a sigh, scratching awkwardly at the back of his head. “Truth is, that’s pretty much how we all got here.”
The pilot glanced around the drawing room. “Now, where’d Glowstick get off to? He could tell you what’s goin’ on better than I could.”

It seemed like Ranmaru was going to finish off Boyd, but Numbah One rushed forward, pulling Boyd away so that he wouldn't get hit by the sword. He then proceeded to throw Boyd on the ground so he could shackle him, all while glaring at Ranmaru. "Officer Ranmaru, I am not one to complain about someone's methods, especially when that someone was part of the group who saved the day, but this is hardly the right thing to do!"
After Alphonse left Edward, the blonde alchemist would have a moment of silence.. before a wrench flew out from nowhere, hitting him right in the head. "Edward!" A familiar voice yelled, and Winry walked out of a car, a briefcase on her hand and a death glare on her face. "What in the world are you doing with my automails?! I told you to not break them again!"
Inside the Tesseract, Main Room
Proto Man caught sight of a young boy catching up to the man he was talking to. He was about to try to explain himself to the kid when the adult spoke up.
"...Whoa... So you're saying that this isn't... I wasn't the only one to..."
One of his hands busied itself fiddling around with the loose end of his scarf, nervously working the yellow fabric between his fingers as he tried to collect his thoughts. This Glowstick guy gonna tell me I'm having a dream or what? I'd guess I was dead, but humans and robots don't go to the same place... Do they...?
"...Uh... Should we look for him?"
and then they fricked in the bootyEdward yelled as he fell to the side, a big bump having appeared on his head thanks to Winry's wrench. He looked up from the floor, tears in his eyes- from both the pain and the fact he was seeing Winry for the first time in a long while. "Oh, Winry..." He said. "You haven't changed a bit..."
He slowly covered himself with his one arm. "And I think I broke your automails. Forgot to... maintain them... for some time. Please don't kill me."
Unfortunately for the Elites, water was one of the things that their shields did not great them. The geyser was powerful enough to slam all three into the walls, killing them instantly.
With the Wave ended, Elizabeth found herself feeling much better, her mental fortitude healed significantly. However, neither could relax yet as another wave began.Strangely, there was only five grunts on a single sniper. The lack of enemies soon became apparent.......

◊ As the grunts opened fire and the sniper took aim, the massive beings went on the offensive as well. One of them charge straight for Elizabeth, planning to ram her with its shield, while the other took aim at Garland, charged up its weapon, and fired a devastating green laser upon the warrior. The laser would be easily dodge, but only because it took so long to charge.

There was a moment of silence as Winry picked up her wrench... and whacked Edward in the head once more. "I told you to take care of them! I can't go around, replacing your automail whenever you feel like it!" She got on one knee, rolling up the sleeve of Edward's pants. "Jeez, Edward, this looks horrible! Kinda looks like a bad version of one of my models... have you been using the spares again? I don't remember switching them for you..."

"... well..." Edward said, looking down and frowning. "It's been a good life. Can you call her again and tell her to bring the latest models?" He grinned, trying to hide his fear of Winry's wrath.
