Inside the Tesseract
"I....I'm not even sure honestly. Also, what the hell's a koopa?"
Baffled by Luigi's use of words, Leo raised an eyebrow as he spoke. He decided not to dwell on pointless facts however.
"Anyway, he briefed us on our current situation, so he knows a lot more than I do about why you're here."
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiLuigi was visibly surprised. "You don't a-know what a koopa is? Everyone a-knows what a koopa is!" He grabbed Leo's pen and one of the testimonials, scribbling an image of a turtle with shoes
◊ on the top left side of the page. "This is a koopa. Some of them are nice, some of them aren't. How come you have never heard of them?"
Inside the Tesseract
A...turtle?
Staring at the 5 second doodle, Leo was at a brief loss for words.
Well, back home, there were certainly stranger creatures. A turtle standing upright on shoes may not have been the strangest thing he's ever seen.
"Guess I've been living under a rock or something."
Leo remarked. He didn't want to barrage Luigi with more snarky remarks.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiLeo took back his testimony and frowned a little at the doodle Luigi left on it. He was nice enough to draw it in the corner of course, so there was really no reason to snap at him over this.
Then Luigi asked the big question.
How to get home?
"Well, the thing is, you can't. For now at least."
"Shake the dust." - Anis Mojgani"Oh..."
Leo was actually surprised. Judging from Luigi's earlier easy-to-frighten state, he was expecting him to deny it. He certainly wasn't expecting him to embrace it.
"Well, okay then. That's uh...great."
So this guy's brother gets called like this all the time? Maybe he knows something then.
"Your brother gets called to these kinds of mission?"
"Shake the dust." - Anis Mojgani"All the time." Luigi said, nodding. "Mario gets a-called to save the princess, to save the Mushroom Kingdom, to save the world, to save the worlds and even to save galaxies!" He frowned, looking down. "While Luigi here gets a-called only to save time by getting items Mario can use in his adventures..."

Inside the Tesseract, Pride's Room
Shaken out of his confusion, Sazh glanced down at the boy once more. “No, everythin’s fine,” he told him, though perhaps with a little less conviction than he should have. “Seein’ these pictures just took me back, that’s all.”
The Chocobo chick leaned out of his afro to look the pilot in the eye, giving him a warning chirp.
Sazh scowled at the little bird. “Oh, hush.”
The Danse Macabre CodexHaving done what he had meant to do, Jack could spare no words of rebuke for Envy, but instead, sheathing his sword, sprinted back the way he'd come, towards the falling water tower. He knew his own limitations, for he had made them and pushed beyond them at times. He could not stop the tower from falling. He could not somehow repair it or contain the poison within. But he could slow it down. He could give those of his comrades who had the power he lacked the time they needed. With a final burst of speed, he reached the severed supports of the tower, turned his back, and, bracing himself against the ground, shoved with all his might, straining to hold up even a little of the weight upon his shoulders. A single word tore its way out of him as he looked towards the scattering crowd.
"RUN!"
A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent upon arriving. -Lao TzuInside the Tesseract, main room
Proto Man fell from about a foot in the air into the cozy little room, making a less-than-graceful landing face down on the Persian rug. Pulling himself up quickly into a crouching position, his expression slowly began to betray his utter bewilderment with his new surroundings. Not a moment ago he was idly wandering across a field, contemplating giving his brother and sister back at the lab one of his customary surprise visits. Now... Well, he sure as hell didn't remember teleporting, much less to some bigwig's posh living room.
Standing up slowly, he gave the room a closer look. Painting, fireplace, cup of joe... Whoever lives here is probably not too far off. As he tried to make sense of it all, it entered his mind that he might have blacked out in that field and this might be his dying CPU's last joke before his body finally calls it quits. Quickly dismissing that morbid thought, he cautiously ambled towards the hallway and called out.
"Hello? Anyone in here?"

and then they fricked in the bootyEdward had three things in his mind. Number one was to help Doc heal the wounded knight. Number two was to punch Envy across the face so hard he would break his nose- and then do it again, and again, and again. Number three was to save those toons and the city of LA from being dipped alive.
Even if number two sounded like something he had been waiting to do for a long time, he still had to help save the city. And so, he ran forward, stopping next to the watertower. He stretched his arms, concentrating, clapped them and touch the ground, as a giant stone claw sprouted from it, growing bigger and bigger until it got to the watertower, at which point it attempted to wrap itself around it to hold the thing back.
The Tesseract, Riku's Room
Riku went even further, willing the necessary trees and rock formations out the nothingness, even the ocean, and simple wooden structures he and hus freinds had built as children. Slowly his home formed around him. It helped that he was intensly familiar with it all. But something was missing. What was it? It hit him like a ton of bricks. The sky!
He looked up and began to change that as well, the empty void filling with blue, and finished off with a sun to brighten things up.
Riku was home...well sort of.

"I do not a-like being on the shadows, yes." Luigi said, crossing his arms and nodding. "But it's not like I do not like my brother. So me getting my chance to be the Green Thunder, it's a-fantastic!"
"... took you back? How?" Pride said, looking at the pictures. "Are there alchemists back where you came from?... or do you miss your Father and Mother?"
The Studios
The crowd didn't need Jack's instructions of what to do, and people were turning around in their cars or dropping whatever they were doing to run out of their shops and hide. But Jack felt the weight on his back disappearing, as Edward's stone hand and Fluttershy's shield slowly stopped the water tower on its tracks. It stood there, motionless, little bits of dip spilling out of the top- if it had bent over just one more centimeter, it would be the end for everything.
The crowd stopped, looking at the watertower, and slowly, but surely, they all started celebrating- after making sure that the watertower wasn't going to fall anyway. Police officers arrived, followed by fire trucks, who proceeded to set up stairs and cables to hold back the watertower.
And in the Studios, one could see Boyd banging his head against the floor, muttering "damn" over and over, as he realized he had failed. "Wooohoo!" Daffy yelled, celebrating. "We did it!" He said, suddenly jumping on Envy's arms. "What a beautiful mom— ew. Wrong person." He suddenly re-appeared in Link's arms. "No, no, not you." And then in Chun Li's arms. "Oh, now we're talking. Ahem. What a beautiful moment! Don't you think, my dear?"
Edward stared at the watertower... and let out a sigh of relief, wiping the sweat off his brow. Crisis averted. "See?" He said, turning around to the group with a smile. "I told you guys it wouldn't be a p—"
And just then, he fell onto the floor, his leg automail failing him once more. "Oh, that's just great—" He said, ready to lift himself off the floor, when his arm automail also failed him. "... Alphonse!... can you... please call Winry... "
"Huh? Yeah, the city's fine. Stop moving, you're gonna make it worse..." he replied, not actually looking out the window. He quickly dug out the bullet and went back to cleaning out the wound as best he could, given his limited array of materials. What he needed was to get to an actual medical bay. Or to learn to do White magic properly... A little late for that now, he thought.
MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistInside the Tesseract, Leo's Office
"I see..."
It seemed Luigi was all too eager to save the day. Leo didn't show it, but he respected this. The little green fellow seemed determined, and for all his initial fear and confusion, when things got cleared up, he was ready to take responsibility. Leo sighed. It kind of reminded him of himself when he was younger, particularly before joining the Marines.
"Your name's...Luigi, right? I think I got that right..."
"Shake the dust." - Anis Mojgani"Brother!" Alphonse rushed out, grabbing Edward and slinging his arm around his neck so he could get back up on his feet. "Uhm... just give me a second..." He reached for his pocket with his other hand, dialing Winry. "... just one sec— Oh! Hi, Winry!... uhm, this is going to sound weird, but— yes, I didn't forget about that— it's just... well... Brother's automail is broken. Which one?... Both of them." He winced, and anyone close enough would be able to hear shouting. "Long story! Can you just... oh, OK. Thanks, Winry! I'll tell him." He closed the phone...
... and somberly looked at Edward. "She said that if you did any major damage to the automails, she'll kill you."

Inside the Tesseract
"No, you can relax. No one's gonna eat you."
Leo found the little green man's nervousness an amusing quirk, but he wasn't gonna twist the knife any further.
"It's my office. I built this office. With...uh...my mind, apparently."
The words came out of Leo's mouth, and to him, they sounded so absurd. Like something a man in an asylum would say. He had to face it though, that it was reality. Besides, he didn't want to think too hard on men in asylums. It reminded him of bad times.
"So, I take it you haven't met that Celestial guy?"
