Drakerrast's Fire Breath and Garland's fireballs after the latter was ineffectually tossing them around like ragdolls managed to burn through a good swath of the Hollow Men, reducing them all to ashes within minutes. The fire spread quickly, and soon only eight or so remained - *CHING, POP*
Make that seven or so, as Camus' spear pierced through one of the Hollow Men, causing it to pop like the balloon it was.
Fluttershy looked up from her second slice of pizza to see a newcomer enter the basement through what looked like some kind of summoning circle* and out came a human asking about "Contractors". Then down the stairs came some rather large being wearing a helmet and the Doctor.
A beat.
The Doctor the pony did recognize. She waved her hoof hello to the Time Lord, not having seen him ever since the incident with Eddie's world.

DAMMIT MARK, STOP HITTING HELPY!!Drakerrast looked on in satisfaction as his fiery breath set many of the pasty creatures ablaze; when the smoke finally cleared and the last embers had guttered and died out, only eight of the heavy-handed beasts were left. That had certainly thinned the herd out, to say the least. He could only hope it had been worth it, though; it would be some time before he could recollect the energy he needed to use the Thu’um again, and if whatever creatures made up the next wave had to be dealt with in the same way…well, suffice it to say there would be problems.
There was little time to worry about that, however. The surviving humanoids wouldn’t slay themselves, after all. He considered setting them on fire with Destruction magic, but quickly discarded that idea—he could feel his reserves of Magicka
starting to dwindle, and replenishing that energy in the heat of battle was a very slow process. Better to save his spells for when he really needed them, and dispatch these creatures the old-fashioned way, with cold steel.
With that thought, the Dovahkiin drew his Skyforge Steel Battleaxe once more and charged towards the nearest adversary, snarling with effort as he swung the finely-wrought weapon in a vicious horizontal stroke aimed at its neck.
The Danse Macabre CodexCloud blinked in confusion and glanced at his rolled-up sleeves
. She's ignoring me, too... Cloud had barely enough time to feel offended before it struck him. She's ignoring me! Maybe she doesn't want to talk to me either.
...That sounded better before I thought it.
"Y-yeah. So, um... lots of stuff happening, right? With, um... the others. Wherever they are."
MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistMy bad. Did a google seach for cloud and assumed he was dressed like what came up.
Fumio wiped the steam from the shower off her glasses, and blinked.
"Oh, there's the sleeves! ...Wow, that does look warm. Maybe you should take off your scarf? And... um... shoulder thingy? Get comfortable, maybe?"
She paused.
"Do you know if Johnny ate?"
As the Doctor waits in the elevator he notices Saren's self-preparation. Saren seems tenser than usual. Did his tracers maybe sense something wrong with Lux or Rey? Has the Sea caught up to Rey? There are so many things it could be.
As he walks out the elevator, the Doctor notices Saren seize up as they find Rey and Lux. The Doctor on the other hand sees Rey and Lux and has his eyes widen like saucers. As he runs over with a bounce in his step, a wave of relief seems to wash over his body. He grabs Mysterio with one arm and Lux with the other and just grabs them in close for a hug. "Rey! Luxanna! I was so worried for both of you, oh how are you doing?!"
The Doctor suddenly realizes he and the group are not the only ones in the room and notices Samurai Jack first. "Oh hello there, Jack. I can't remember if I've asked you this yet but did you go home before we got dragged into this?"
He then turns to Shotaro as he waves to Fluttershy. "What do you mean? I was just sleeping for a few hours."
"No, it's fine, it's, uh... it's... I'll — I'll do that." He reluctantly shrugged off the scarf and unclipped his pauldron, and hastily stuffed them both in his bag. He probably smelled like sweat and engine refuse, and here he was, talking to a girl. Idiot. "Standard uniform. Got used to wearing it when dealing with... er, dealing with civilians." He swallowed.
"I-I think he did. He's the one that got shot, right? I-I mean —" Way to bring that up again. Classy.
MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon Alchemist"Well, I'm... kinda low on the chain of command — Private 3rd Class — so, it's pretty much the same thing... if you're a Corporal or below, you get civilian management, MP duties, crowd control," he said, trailing off at the end. "Mostly just small disputes. War's been over for a while, so the most we'll ever deal with is resistance groups."
"...It's a good job. Pays well enough," he finished lamely.
MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon AlchemistSora sat up straight, looking at Issei as he explained. The Demon contract thing kind of sounded interesting.
Issei then looked around the room, and asked if this was a Cosplay event.
Cosplay's when people dress up like it's Halloween, right? Sora thought, looking at the people in the room. In a way, the way everyone dressed did kind of look like they could be costumes. Guess I've just gotten used to people looking different...
Sora shook his head, returning his attention to Issei. "Nah, it's not."

Chun-Li had returned to the basement, having finally washed up and gotten some more pizza. She was practicing her martial arts form, wanting to keep in shape. However, anyone who wanted to could talk to her.

Wizard Needs Food Badly"I returned to my own world shortly before the end of the previous set of challenges," Jack answered, "but did not accomplish my mission there before I was again taken and brought here. But there's no need for you to concern yourself with my problems. It is good to see you again, Doctor. We have missed your wisdom and knowledge of the universe greatly."

"Ah, right. Which pantheons do you all belong to then? I see mixed costumes and such... Mu..." Rubbing his chin, the boy mistakenly compared to the mythological figures and being that he had associated with. "It doesn't seem like you belong to any one faction..." And then something caught his eye.
An oriental woman in blue who was practicing martial arts. Something about her seemed similar, but what Issei couldn't remember. "This is very strange... I know this isn't Hell... And it's too modern to be Asgard... And too western for the Oriental pantheons... This is making my brain hurt. Where in the world am I?" Issei Hyoudou asked nobody in particular, raising his question as a sort of broad inquiry.
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected."Yeah, I guess it has... I kind of miss school, but this is for the greater good, so this is fine," he said, tugging at his collar a bit. "I've never done anything like this before, though." "
"...I guess that guy'll let us go back when we finish, huh?" he added, the barest hint of bitterness in his voice.
MY SOUL IS DARK BUT MY HAIR IS COLORFUL — Brahian Pokémon Alchemist"Hmm?" Chun-Li turned to look over at Issei, though still practicing her form. "Oh, you're not native?"
"Well, it's a long story and I'm not completely sure of it myself," Chun-Li began to explain, still practicing her form. "But you've been brought here to help us."
Wizard Needs Food BadlyCelty looked around the dimly lit room with growing unease. This was not the shabby, simply furnished reception desk she had been expecting - it looked like the the Committee had moved on.
So what does that make these two? Celty thought suspiciously, looking at the two people sitting in the one pool of light in the room. Whoever they are, they're not exactly welcoming...
The helmeted woman simply stood beside Narancia, crossing her arms over her chest. She didn't exactly feel like walking over to the pair of strangers to show them her PDA, so she would have to let the boy do the talking for now. As she waited, she peered into the darkness around the sofa, trying to discern who they were dealing with - as she had no eyes, a lack of light wasn't really much of an impediment to her senses.

"Right... I can get helping." Issei assented and nodded to the oriental martial artist, noting that she was very well toned. "Um... though... Help with what, exactly?" The boy asked hesitantly, his eyes locked on the form. Martial arts were always amazing to his eyes, though he hadn't had the time to find a teacher. Mostly, he just brawled and used street fighting tactics. "Is it chores or a delivery or suppressing terrorists?"
One would be surprised at the amount of strange things that happened to him over the last half year. The light reflecting from Issei's eyes held more depth than a regular boy his age should- a testament to everything he's seen and done- the look of a veteran and a survivor. Though his tone was still casual, an almost invisible change went through his body as tension spread from the core and muscles began straining themselves in case he had to act.
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected."We... don't exactly know yet," Chun-Li continued her practice. "We know that we get sent to worlds for missions, but we don't know the mission of this world yet."
"Do you practice martial arts?" Chun-Li asked, noticing his interest in her forms.

"I'm fine," Fumio replied. "But... Your outfit doesn't look that warm. It doesn't even have sleeves."
So, yeah, Fumio could be kind of oblivious at times... But everyone had their moments, right?
