Dodgers looked at Shotaro with a "are you serious" look. He looked at the fourth wall, raising an eyebrow:
"Too much overreacting."
He then approached Shotaro, crossing his arms:
"Listen... whatever your name is... the whole discriminating thing is so 21st century! Yes, I am a duck, but I'm also an Earth hero, a captain of the Galactic Protectorate, a defender of my planet, and so on, so on. Speaking of being things, what exactly are you?"
Rey held up his hands, trying to back away from Antroz. "I...look...I remember Eddie, of course, he's a friend of mine, and I know we were in his world, but I don't remember what happened there, I swear! I just know that afterwards everyone told me I did something awful but...I don't remember it...you have to believe me, I swear, I don't remember anything that happened back there...it...it wasn't me!"
Easing back into life one step at a timeShotaro then composes himself. "Oh... Ahem
... My name is Hidari Shotaro. I investigate strange winds that blow through this city like a thief in the night. Though I may be alone, with my partner, I can do just about anything. For me and my partner are the two-in-one detective!" Shotaro said. He then pointed to the duck. "Any crimes you have, I'll count them up..." He said.
The thumping of feet and a boisterous laugh, then someone tall picked up Dodgers by the scruff of the neck. The brawny seven foot man in a blue bug suit had been listening to Dodger's introduction, and now had one of his own. "Always good to meet a fellow hero, even one so odd! I am the Tick, defender of the city, foe of crime, champion of justice, and the wild blue yonder! Welcome, Dodger the Duck!"
And a Strange Figure Emerges.Dodgers actually tried to break free from the Tick's grasp, until he realised that, once again, there was nothing he could do. So he just crossed his arms, waiting for the gigantic man to finish his speech:
"Actually, it's Duck Dodgers. Not Dodger the Duck. Too much 1930's, if you ask me."
An audible growl could be heard, and the source of it was Dodger's stomach. He took a good look at it, tapped his chin, and then gave everyone a shy smile:
"Well, it looks like I was sent here right before my first meal of the day. In other words... I'm starving."

"OOF!" Fluttershy grunted when Snake Eyes leapt unto her back. The pegasus adjusted quickly however, thanks to the strength augmentation of the armor she had. She spread her wings and took flight, carrying the ninja effortlessly into the air. As she soared she looked towards the ground, calling out Rey's name.
"Rey, where are you?!" she called out. "You didn't get eaten by that bug monster, did you?!"
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HITTING HELPY!!"Starving?!" Tick abruptly dropped Dodgers. "This will not do at all! I shall find a meal posthaste, Duck the Dodger! Now, what do ducks eat?...grapes...barley...peas...Aha! A loaf of bread,' The hero said, 'Is what we chiefly need!
And a Strange Figure Emerges.Subaru accepted the medical drink, downing it and letting it work. Her head was still throbbing from the impact. Since everyone was now interested in the other new comer it gave her the chance to look around. It seemed they had a mixed group.
She looked a Mehir,
“Alright. I think we can work with that. Maybe a form of Parole.” She winced, rubbing her head. She looked around again at the city.
“Not the common room that's for sure. No summoning stuff ether or I'd have a good meal right now.”
Then she heard someone calling Rey's name. She forced herself to her feet.
“No time to be sitting around.”

Mehir's hand hit his forehead with a resounding smack.
"Some people don't learn, do they?" he said. "I'm going to Summon a Rhami and have her mutilate the idiot..."
The Summoner turned around, dismissing Subaru from his mind. Crouching, he let his Circle flare to life again, and drew another one in the air, blue light trailing after his finger.
Soon enough, it flowed into the form of a Rhami; Mehir told her something, and they ran toward the source of the shouting — other words, Fluttershy and Snake Eyes' location.
"Look...I don't know what happened. I...if I was in the Sea of Black Tears then it would have made an...a-a clone of my darker impulses. So...I...I suppose in a way it was me, but...it wasn't really me, just...just the dark side of me..."
Rey winced slightly, turning his head a bit. "It...wouldn't be the first time something like that happened in a challenge..."
Easing back into life one step at a timeJack, now finally noticing the small shapes of Rey and Antroz up in the sky, found himself helpless to do much about it.
"I can just barely jump that high," he said to Subaru and Mehir, "but I do not wish to kill either of them and they could simply move out of my way. Do you have a way of getting up there?"
A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent upon arriving. -Lao TzuTick smacked his forehead. "Of course, of course! How silly of me! The automobile of heroism can go 95 justice an hour, but not without a full tank of hearty sustenance! A heroic banquet it shall be, then! One of burgers, pizzas, and great towering bowlfuls of Drama Flakes! ...eh...that is, if I knew where to find any of that." Tick grinned sheepishly.
And a Strange Figure Emerges.Chun-Li looked genuinely confused at the surrounding. I mean when someone just landed and there's a giant sentient duck around, there was bound to be some confusion.
"What's going on?" Chun-Li asked, when Rey appeared to be in trouble.
Wizard Needs Food BadlyGrey watched proceedings with a certain amount of confusion as events rapidly progressed. Mehir's comment had made him realise - with a hearty dollop of embarrasment - that the girl was in all likelihood from Erio's world. He realised just how little he knew about this stranger - or whatever had happened the previous time people had been pulled into this place. Speaking of Erio... how was he? He certainly seemed just as downbeat as Grey was.
Trudging over to Erio, he said, "Look, whatever the matter is... if there's anything I can do to help, just tell me, okay? I know the feeling, and uh..."
Grey paused uncomfortably and looked away. "...I'll talk to you later - I think Rey's in trouble." He was kicking himself mentally, but he was never any good at pep talks or reassuring others. Still, he had to try some time down the line. Perhaps once they had dealt with Rey. "...Sorry."
Dashing to meet Mehir, he tried to look at the Last Summoner and asked, "What's happening?"
It was a bit of a stupid question, but better than nothing.
Locking you up on radar since '09Mehir (and the Rhami) skidded to a halt.
"I'm not sure," he told Chun-Li and Grey, "but Rey seems to be in trouble and that troublemaker Antroz is nowhere to be seen; ergo, he's probably the cause of Rey's trouble."
The Summoner shook his head. "I'm really tempted to open a gate to the Red Abyss and just throw Antroz there, so he will understand that there are greater things in stake than him."
A pause. Mehir looked into Grey's eyes and said, "I'm sorry we couldn't help your world, Grey."
Grey tried to arrest his acceleration with moderate success, skidding to a halt a short distance in front of Mehir. Activating his twin busters, Grey was about to respond when Mehir apologised for not being able to save his world. The reploid moved to say something, then stopped himself, looking for a moment at the floor. "...It's okay. I won't let him get away with it. I didn't let Master Albert get away with it, either. I won't stop until he's finished. I didn't mean to get you involved with the Game of Destiny, either."
Grey stopped talking for a moment, returning Mehir's gaze. "...While I was out, I knew you guys fought Prometheus and Pandora. What did they tell you?"
Might as well get it over with, he thought grimly.
Locking you up on radar since '09"A lot of megalomaniac nonsense," said Mehir. "They've also said something about your origins - apparently, you were created by this Master Albert as an extra body... Though I am inclined to think that they were trying to mess with our psyche."
The Summoner sighed, and looked toward the sky, tuning the world out for a moment. "It's not your fault we were involved. And it is my duty to uphold the Law, wherever I am... I promise you this:" — Mehir once again looked into Grey's eyes, putting his fist on his heart — "I will do all that is in my power to go back to your world and deliver it from Master Thomas. On my word as a Summoner."
"...Oh," replied Grey. "...I guess I should tell you that's true, then. I think I was meant to be activated if Master Albert died, and then Model A would tell me everything I needed to know. Probably would have happened too, if my capsule wasn't broken before the brainwashing was complete. Pandora and Prometheus were also made by Master Albert, so I guess that makes those two my older siblings, huh?"
" Don't even remind me!" interrupted Model A. " What a bunch of creeps. If I could've, I would've taken care of 'em all by myself."
Pointedly ignoring his Biometal's outburst, Grey nodded as Mehir continued. "...Thanks. I guess we should get going again before it's too late. And I still owe Rey... everyone, in fact."
With that, the reploid dashed forward again.
Locking you up on radar since '09Mehir nodded. He ran after Grey, looking for any signs of a struggle. Of course, he wasn't as fast as Grey; the Rhami, however, easily kept pace with him, long hair streaming in the wind, scimitars weaving.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.

"You don't remember? thats disappointing"
Antroz with Rey clinging to him went into a free fall decent, ending with them both landing roughly but saftely on the solid ground with a thump.
Rey would notice that they were quite far away from the other champions now, he couldn't even hear their voices.
Antroz took a step back from Rey and surveyed the surroundings, they were in a rather circular space with crystaline towers surrounding them like an amphitheatre, a few metres away was a strange shrine like building, different from the other towers in both size, look and feel, Antroz ignored it; if Rey had forgoten then he would remind him.
"I see that you are quite puzzled, you do not know why i have taken such lengths to separate you from the others".
Antroz circled Rey as he spoke, like some shark with an injured dolphin.
"Sometime ago we were dragged into a world where they fought using sound and noise, if my memory is correct you caused me a good deal of pain; I have a problem with people who cause me pain".
The sickle blades of Antroz glinted.
"Do you remember? or does the name 'Eddie' not ring any bells?"
