"Great. I get to go to school all over again. Just perfect. My mom's my chief, my dad's my rival, I'm a woman, and now I'm going back to school. Can this day get any worse?" Shotaro said.

"...Ufu, I think I'm going to like this school..." Kohaku said whimsically. "And that's Kohaku-senpai, Nano-kouhai, eheh~" she added with a giggle.
"I apologize for making you feel that way, Rosenkreutz-sama," Hisui bowed at Gunner. "I... Am not used to such crowded environments. Until very recently I had never left the mansion for several years, and so I am not particularly comfortable with going outside."
"Oh, sorry, Kohaku-senpai!" Nanoha corrected herself fairly quickly. She'd grown so used to using -san that she hadn't switched over immediately. Turning back to Byakuren, she smiled at the magician.
"I think so... but you might have to put her in your backpack," she replied. Hadn't Byakuren mentioned a Shou who was a tiger before? Was this the stuffed animal version?
The train began to slow down.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."-DK stares at the gigantic man who appears to have little sense of volume control, and also looks quite a bit like a gorilla himself, his eyes level with the giant's chest.-
ZARUKO? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!
Ook rngn urkufat hrf.
-Despite his best efforts to communicate tothe simian-looking indiviual in the language of gorillas that he is not Zaruko but an ape from a different plane of existence brought here by the will of strange otherdimensional entities, only guttural sounds escape from DK's lips. The neighbor's head jerks up, but then stares in silence.-
Uruk araharr gnurf ahe!
-Growing frustrated, DK tries to get his point across with sweeping gestures, his interlocutor gaining a calculating expression.-
YOU HAVE A THROAT INFECTION, AND NEED ME TO DROP YOU OFF AT YOUR SCHOOL?!
-Happy to have obtained any kind of response from the man, DK nods energetically, wondering what a throw it infection might be.-
IT'S ON MY WAY, COME ON.
-Retrieving a long pole and a furled-up cloth from inside the apartment, the man heads for the apartment garage, followed by DK. They come to an ol, beat-up car that would be small by the standards of an average man, far more so for the two oversized passengers.-
-The pair get in the hairy man's car and drive off, squeezed in by their own bulk and that of the assorted equipment in the back seat.-
WATCH THE WIRES, I ALREADY RIGGED THEM FOR SPARKS.
-The wires, which are indeed emitting sparks every time the car hits a bump, which due to the driver's energetic style is quite often, are very carefully held back by the confused ape.-
WE'RE HERE, GO!!!
-"Here" being in the middle of an intersection with numerous vehicles speeding by. DK barely has time to register being kicked out of the car before noticing the trucks and bikes bearing down on him. Fighting his first impulse to simply pick up the onrushers and toss them aside like he would any other agressor, he jumps, ducks and weaves the traffic heedless of the yells and horns, finding the situation strangely amusing. Unknowingly observed by the man in the car, who appears satisfied and drives off to his own job. The licence plate falls off and is crushed by the following car, rendering the characters for "iron" and "bite" illegible.-
-Now at the school gate, Zaruko ponders what to do next. Standing to her fullest height, she scans her surroundings, a stray breeze causing her tie to flap around, a bright yellow D and K catching the eyes of passersby.-
"Oh... Still, I wish I could have seen that you were uncomfortable and done something about it." Gunner replied back, frowning at her incompetence. "I'm not very good at interacting with other people as I am with machines, regrettably." Gunner paused as she felt the train stopping.

Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Though Jack had to ask directions, at least she knew where she was going and the school was within walking distance. It was a sunny day, and save for the matter of her transformation, she almost wished she was back home, with no other concern than doing well in her studies. Almost. As she approached the building, she continued searching for any sign of the other champions. I may not recognize them, but I know they are here.
A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent upon arriving. -Lao Tzu"Just as long as you remember, it's okay, Nano-kouhai~" Kohaku giggled. "Ah, looks like we're stopping. Guess we'll see you guys later, ufu~"
"You did nothing wrong, Rosenkreutz-sama," Hisui replied, subtlely frowning back in turn. "Please do not blame yourself. The fault is all mine for not letting you know."
Byakuren waited for the doors to open, squeezing past Nanoha and getting as close to them as possible. She wanted to get out of the crowded carriage, which wasn't entirely surprising, and back to somewhere where there weren't over a hundred people squeezed into the same total amount of space as the Palanquin Ship's deck.*
Jenny seems to slump. "I... I was named after... well you can't say kid exactly cause I'd be a Truly Single Parent. This girl came from my DNA... she died... like everyone else that comes into contact with me."
Soon enough, the train came to a halt. After a short delay, the doors slide open quickly and the crowds, at least all the students, started to hurry out. Nanoha ended up getting pushed along with them, slightly squished between two of the older students. While this certainly wasn't comfortable at least she was already going that way.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Byakuren was one of the first out and... promptly stopped short, wondering where the hell she had to go. There were buildings... but which one was the school she was looking for?
In the same classroom that the child champions were headed towards, the teacher was faced with a pressing conundrum. Just where, exactly, was she to put her swords? The desk was too easily reached by elementary school pupils and she didn't want to keep them somewhere entirely out of sight and hard to reach for her like on top of the cupboards...
Gunner nodded to Hisui and cleared the way, assertively nudging people out of her way when they attempted to rush out like the unruly mob they were. Such an action got the woman plenty of hard looks and muttered statements that were in no way desirable nor should be said out loud.
With the narrow trail of empty space she left behind, Metaluca gestured to the others to follow in her steps for a more agreeable passage, much easier than if they were to try to fight the masses.
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Nanoha continued onward, once she got away from the older students who'd pushed her out. She noticed that Byakuren once again looked confused, and... she was pretty confused as well. Where were they going...? She tried to find out where the other elementary schoolers were going... and they seemed to be heading for the furthest of several buildings.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."

Meanwhile Terrice was arranging her hair using her reflection in one of the school's windows. It just didn't look right for a girl to have spiky hair somehow. Not when it was blood red.
Having smoothed it down as much as she could Terrice returned to the front door to wait for the rest of the champions to arrive. Surely she wasn't going to go through this alone, was she?
