Fluttershy lit up with interest as Mangus casually told his story. The level of epicness connected with it reminded her of the old legends and creation myths of Equestria, especially about Nightmare Moon, plus it sounded similar to a romantic tragedy, of how this poor being cried herself to death, literally. Maybe because this Aetulia was so sad was why this place looked so scary and dark. She was just so sad.....

"Were Ormagoden and Aetulia friends?" she asked Mangus. "I understand why she would be so sad if that were the case. I know I would be heartbroken if I had lost any of my friends, especially the way he died......" At the thought of her friends, the pegasus was reminded of how she was separated from them. She wondered if anyone from Ponyville would have noticed she was gone by now, and how worried everyone would be.....especially Angel. She imagined how much of a nervous wreck her precious rabbit would be.......

At least the sorrow she felt managed to mostly keep down the rising nervous she had at the thought of the effect of the Sea of Black Tears would have one those who drank from it. And from the utter lack of color that occurred as they near their destination.....

"There's some young TSAB officers, though," Nanoha added, thinking for several moments. "Fate-chan worked as a volunteer... And Chrono-kun isn't that much older then her or me... But I'm not sure how that works."

Kohaku didn't press the subject, and simply went back to her seat. She peered out at the group flying beside the jellyfish, wondering to herself how they must be feeling, to be able to do something like that.

"Ah, it would be fun," she said out loud to no-one in particular, "to fly in the open air like that, wouldn't it? Ufufu~"

"URK! Yes. Yes it would. BLARF! In my world there are some people called Venus Adepts who can fly for very short distances. It's more like hovering and PAWG! throwing yourself where you want to go but my uncle made a glider. UFFFFF. Too bad I crashed it on my way here." Tyrell kinda missed his uncle Ivan.

I bet he would love to see this. When I get home I should get Rief to help me write a book about my adventures here.

Tyrell gratefully accepted the bottle from cletus and drank it.

"What is it? What does it do?"

Gunner thought she heard something involving flight from the open hole in the gelatinous vehicle, so she floated over. "Ara, who said something about flight?" She inquired, looking around.

Meanwhile, the jelly ever so slightly shifted, and one of its tentacles darkened a bit, then twitched towards the south.

Fun fact: Fireballs to the chest hurt. A lot. Well, at least they didn't set me on fire. That was because I already was on fire, but you gotta' look for a silver linin'. I staggered back with a grunt before I felt my back bump up against a building. I would've rushed at 'im again but... somethin' else happened. Another portal, this one lookin' like somebody'd stuck a goddamn rainbow in a pot and stirred really hard, popped up behind me. I fell through, still on fire, my yelling matchin' the noise made by the gate.

I landed on my ass, only halfway-conscious, small bits of me still on fire. I felt... heavier. And spikier. The world was dim and the ground was hard. Somewhere to my right, I saw what looked like a huge-ass bus. Almost as big as a house. I could see some familiar faces on top, Ant Floss and Grieve Ass. I groaned and waved at them. I didn't like 'em, but they were familiar and maybe some'a the others were inside that thing.

"Oh, yes." Gunner rummaged in a dimensional pocket before retrieving what looked like a black watch. "It's not the latest generation gravity suit, but it should suffice, this Black Bird. Just press the red button and it should suit you up."

Gunner handed over the innocuous device to the other woman. "I recommend you practice inside the interior of the... ship... before attempting travel in open air." The mechanic recommended.

"Oh? Well, thank you~" chirped Kohaku as she took the watch. "I'll be sure to put it to good use, ufu~"

The maid stood up from her seat and gave Gunner a short bow, before trying on the device. "So Kohaku-chan just presses the red button and... Waaah~" With just a simple press of the button, Kohaku found her feet floating about half a foot off the floor. "Oh my, this is... Ufufu~"

Mangus shook his head somewhat. "I was never quite clear on the whole 'how the world came to be' thing, I'm just repeating the stories I've heard. At any rate, that's why everything around here looks so nuts. And so far as enemies? If we're real lucky, it ain't nothin'. Otherwise, demons? Uh...well, they look more or less like humans, but ugly, wrapped up in bondage gear...lots of them got sharp stabby parts, or they spit nasty stuff at you, or their head is a giant spiky ball they can throw off at you..." He shuddered. "And...now just trust me on this one...if you hear anything like a whistle, look up to see where it's coming from, then get out it's way."

"Welp, looks like we're nearly there."

He abruptly started applying brakes, starting to slow the bus down. They were coming up on a large cavern, the mountains slowly starting to close in on them. One might be able to notice what looked like shapes in the walls on either side of them...the eyes of skulls, jagged spikes and spires, and rounded hunks decorating the entrance to some sort of enormous cave.

"Aw man. I hated this last time, I'm not any more fond of it now," Mangus muttered, demeanor shifting into an obvious reluctance. "This place sucks. See, we gotta go all the way into this mountain to get to it, because way back when, the Titans dropped it on the sea to stop from being tempted to drink the Tears, but seems like the seal that's supposed to keep this thing held off just keeps getting broken. Fuckin' useless."

Though the sky had vanished from sight, and they were practically encased in a large tunnel inside a mountain, there was finally some color ahead...a faint glow...mostly red, but with some hints of purple and orange. Rey frowned deeply, leaning forward, reaching back to grip at his sword lightly.

"Huh. Don't see Eddie anywhere..." Mangus said. "He must've parked inside somewhere. Greeeeat. Just what I wanted to do when I woke up this morning, come back to the shore of the Sea of Black Tears..."

Delta might have missed the bus, but even as he lay there, there was a noise of what one might have recognized as the sound of a group of motorcycles, cruising along the same path. All were dressed in straight black clothing, most of them giant men with spiked helmets, but the man in the lead almost looked like some sort of cowboy...he had on black jeans, a button-up shirt, a black cowboy hat with steel spheres on the front, and mirrored sunglasses that hid his eyes.

Their motorcycles as well were unusual. The front half seemed normal enough, but the back appeared to be hauling some sort of...opened coffin filled with speakers. All of them were nearly identical, one or two were loaded with what looked like crates of beer and cigarettes. As they approached, the one in front motioned the others to continue forward, but pulled up, glaring over at Delta, letting the cycle idle as he did.

"'Ey now, what th'ell are you s'posed to be?" he asked in what sounded like a bit of an irritated English accent.

With a grunt, I got to my feet. Who the shivering fuck were these guys? That'd have to wait 'till later. I loocked down at my hands. The gloves were gone, replaced with a pair of red and black steel gauntlets. The holes were in the right places and the symbols were still there, though they looked like they were carved in with a chisel. The whole suit'd turned black, with lines of bright red runnin' through here and there. My shoulders were covered in jagged lookin' spikes and I think there was a pipe or two stickin' outta' my back. The drill looked pretty much the same, the rivet gun and shotgun to. I put a hand on my shotgun and held up my forearm. Hopefully, they'd get the message.

"Well, since this is a previous generation model, you have to exaggerate your movements a little to get the suit to obey you." Gunner then began the tutorial. "To ascend, place your palms face down at your hips, to descend put your arms above your head palms up, to steer lean slightly to the left or right gradually. For sharp turns, place one arm up and another at your side. If need be you can do a barrel roll by shifting your center of gravity. Propulsion is suddenly flinging both arms behind you, stop is pushing your arms out in front of you immediately, and you have to always tilt your upper body a certain way if you want to continue moving forward."

"It is slightly lame, to quote my companions, but you must do them for maximum effectiveness." Gunner blushed, obviously ashamed of the charades inducing invention.

"Yes, just like-" Gunner's eyes widened in surprise as Kohaku kept barreling her way. Reacting a smidgeon too late, the force of the impact threw Gunner forward into the wall membrane of the jellyfish, enveloping her slightly. "Okay, perhaps that was a bit too much there." The mechanic told the maid who was sandwiching her into the soft, flabby obstacle. After a few seconds she started giggling at the weirdness of the situation, letting out a bit of pent up steam from being in the weird universes so far.

"Well ain't that nice?" the man replied to Delta's gesture, and he raised both of his arms in the same way. "I got two of them." And then he raised both middle fingers. "An' mine even extend." He lowered his arms, reaching into his shirt pocket for a pack of cigarettes, lighting one up as he spoke. Killmaster nodded with another puff of his cigarette. "Hop yourself up in the back there, then, I'll give ya a ride to catch up. Gotta be honest, I had no real intentions on gettin' caught up in this nonsense again, but what can I say, had so much damn fun the last time this shit broke out. This army tends to die without me." He gave the most faint of chuckles, revving the engine on his bike and waiting for Delta to get aboard. "Hell of a suit you got there. Can't imagine how many demons you had to kill for that. Might want to make sure to announce you're with me when we get in, else you're gonna find yourself lit up with molotovs and boar cannons the instant you stand up."
